What to do if your teeth cannot eat acid

What to do if your teeth cannot eat acid

Many people have this feeling. When eating, if they encounter hot, cold, sour or sweet food, they may experience toothache. This feeling is very uncomfortable. There are many reasons for toothache, such as caries, periodontitis, or getting angry at ordinary times, which may cause this phenomenon. Different methods should be adopted for treatment or prevention according to different reasons.

Reasons for tooth soreness:

1. There are caries in the mouth:

The most direct reason is caries in the mouth, which is what we call rotten teeth in our daily life. The teeth will feel sour and painful, and there will be a strong odor in the mouth when you wake up in the morning.

2. Periodontitis:

Another reason for sour teeth is gum atrophy. The main reason for gum atrophy is periodontitis. The most obvious symptom of periodontitis is bleeding teeth when brushing, soreness and pain when biting, and the gums in the mouth are very red and swollen.

3. Inflammation in the mouth:

If you have recently eaten a lot of foods that are easy to cause inflammation (such as hot pot, spicy food), your teeth may also feel sore and swollen. You should stop eating sour and spicy foods in time.

How to treat tooth acid

1. Go to the hospital for tooth decay removal:

If your teeth are indeed rotting, you must go to a dental hospital as soon as possible to have the decayed teeth extracted. Caries will not only make you feel very uncomfortable but will also affect the adjacent teeth.

2. Periodontitis requires teeth cleaning:

If you bleed when you brush your teeth and your gums are very red when you look in the mirror, you probably have periodontitis. You can go to the hospital for a check-up. If you have periodontitis, you need to undergo corresponding periodontal treatment, otherwise your teeth will fall out prematurely.

3. Adhere to correct brushing and gargling every day:

Regardless of whether there are any problems with your teeth or mouth, you must develop healthy and correct brushing habits. It is also best to rinse your mouth after every meal or snack. Be sure to brush your teeth when you get up in the morning and when you go to bed. Protect your teeth so that you can eat better.

4. Avoid eating hot, cold, sour, sweet, or spicy foods during toothache:

If you experience toothache, on the one hand, you should see a doctor as soon as possible to find out the cause and receive treatment. On the other hand, you should pay attention to controlling your diet and eat less cold, sour, and spicy foods, or better yet, avoid them.
