Although women during pregnancy cannot take medicine, some Chinese patent medicines can calm the fetus and replenish qi, so pregnant women can still consume them in small amounts. Pregnancy

If a woman has a chronic illness and her menstruation has not stopped for more than three months, but she has continuous vaginal discharge and the fetus moves above the navel, it is a chronic illness. If the baby moves in the sixth month of pregnancy, during the first three months of menstruation, it is the fetus. If there is bleeding, it means that the cupping period has stopped for three months. Therefore, if the bleeding does not stop, it is because the symptoms have not been eliminated. To eliminate the symptoms, Guizhi Fuling Pills are the main treatment.

Cinnamon twig, Poria cocos, Peony root (core removed), Peach kernel (peeled and tip removed, boiled), Peony root, divided equally

Grind the above five ingredients into powder, mix with refined honey and make into pills as big as rabbit droppings. Take one pill before meals daily. I don’t know, increase the dose to three pills.

Prescription efficacy

Cure the symptoms. Dissolve blood stasis, promote new growth, and harmonize Qi and blood. It is used to treat bleeding during pregnancy and lumps in the fetus.

Promote blood circulation, remove blood stasis, and eliminate symptoms. It is used for women with lumps in the body, amenorrhea due to blood stasis, abdominal pain during menstruation, and persistent lochia after childbirth.

For mild cases, make into pills and slowly eliminate them.

Clinical Application

TCM diagnosis: blood stasis. The patient refused surgery, so Chinese medicine and Guizhi Fuling Pills were taken for three times. On the second day, the abdominal pain was relieved, the vaginal bleeding turned into light red blood, and the amount increased. Her appetite increased, and her spirits improved. After taking the medicine for another three days, a flat, round blood clot flowed out, which was light red and looked like rotten meat. She continued to bleed black and purple blood, but the amount decreased. The abdominal pain disappeared (but there was still tenderness), and her pulse was slow. After taking the medicine for another three days, the bleeding stopped and the abdominal tenderness disappeared. The posterior fornix is ​​slightly full, without tenderness, the uterus is mid-positioned, and the appendages are double (one). After continuing to take the medicine for another 2 days, the color of the blood turned bright red and the amount was large; she switched to taking 2 doses of Jiajian Jiao Ai Tang, and the bleeding stopped and all symptoms disappeared. After one month of observation, the patient was in good health and had one menstruation which lasted for four days. ② Postpartum lochia is not clean "Pu Fuzhou's Medical Cases": Chen Moumou, female, adult, married. Initial diagnosis on May 7, 1963: Since giving birth at full term at the end of March this year, the lochia has not yet cleared, the amount is not much, the color is light red, and sometimes there are small purple blood clots. Since giving birth, the patient has had back pain, pain all over the body when pressed, especially in the lower body, sometimes pain in the left lower abdomen, varicose veins from the left waist to the upper one-third of the thigh, poor appetite, loose stools, yellow urine, okay sleep, dull complexion, pulse strong on the upper part but weak on the lower part, right Guan stringy and slow, left Guan stringy and large, both Cun and Chi are deep and astringent, the tongue is light red and has no coating. It is due to improper postpartum conditioning, resulting in disharmony between the Ying and Wei, disorder of Qi and blood, and failure to transform lochia. The treatment should be to regulate the Ying and Wei, harmonize blood and eliminate blood stasis.
