Nebulization for bronchitis

Nebulization for bronchitis

The incidence of bronchitis is getting worse and worse nowadays, especially now many children have poor resistance and often get bronchitis infections. Therefore, nebulization treatment for bronchitis is currently a common treatment technology. It not only helps us relieve the spasms of bronchitis, but also can prevent coughing and difficulty breathing. There are many situations to distinguish when doing nebulization.

First: Nebulizer therapy is a treatment for pediatric bronchitis. It can provide relief for children with bronchospasm, such as wheezing. But nebulization is not absolute. For example, young children may be afraid of the sound of the nebulizer. At this time, there is no need to force the child to do nebulization. Taking oral medication can also be used for treatment.

Second: Nebulizer inhalation therapy is a way of drug administration. For respiratory diseases, nebulizer inhalation therapy can directly reach the lesions, has good effects, and requires a small amount of medication. It is a better way of drug administration for respiratory diseases in infants and young children. An eight-month-old baby with bronchitis can be treated with nebulizer inhalation if he or she has symptoms such as coughing and sputum. For children suffering from bronchitis, we need to strengthen care, pay attention to keeping the indoor temperature and humidity appropriate, keep the room clean and hygienic, and give the children plenty of water.

Third: If there is a lot of phlegm, it can be atomized. It is also recommended to have a blood test. If a bacterial infection is suspected, antibiotic treatment is recommended.

Fourth: Bronchitis is generally related to catching cold or not treating a cold in time. You can do nebulization, always keep warm, avoid catching cold, and avoid eating greasy food.

Fifth: Nebulization can relieve dry and itchy throat, nasal congestion, discomfort caused by respiratory tract infection, pharyngitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, etc. It is very effective in treating cough, expectoration and asthma, and it has fewer side effects than injections and medications, and is more economical and practical.

Bronchitis in children is very harmful. It is necessary to go to the hospital for treatment in time, find out the cause, and treat it symptomatically. Whether to choose nebulization treatment should be based on the doctor's advice. The treatment of infant bronchitis is effective when combined with oral or intravenous medication and nebulization of drugs. Nebulized drugs are mainly anti-inflammatory, expectorant and bronchodilator. Feed properly, keep warm, get more rest and drink more water.
