Chronic urticaria Chinese medicine

Chronic urticaria Chinese medicine

We all know that urticaria is a common skin disease, but in most people's definition, urticaria comes and goes quickly, which is an acute common disease, but in fact urticaria is a chronic disease, and some may occur continuously throughout the year. Chronic urticaria must be slowly treated with Chinese medicine in normal times to completely block the recurrence of urticaria. This can reduce the pain caused to the patient's body and avoid complications.

Is there any traditional Chinese medicine remedy for urticaria?

Although urticaria is a real disease in the early stage, it becomes a false disease over time, and wind evil is the main cause. "Wind is the root of all diseases and is prone to change." When wind and cold combine, they become wind-cold evil; when wind and heat combine, they become wind-heat evil; the two can also transform into each other. Therefore, treatment should focus on dispelling wind.

Prescription for chronic urticaria: 20 grams of raw rehmannia, 20 grams of Polygonum multiflorum, 12 grams of Angelica sinensis, 12 grams of white peony root, 10 grams of Saposhnikovia divaricata, 10 grams of Moutan bark, 10 grams of Polygonatum odoratum, 10 grams of Schizonepeta tenuifolia, 30 grams of jujube, and 30 grams of ginseng leaf. Decoction in water.

Chinese medicine for acute urticaria mainly treats urticaria by dispelling wind, clearing heat and removing dampness: (You can choose one of the following two prescriptions for oral administration)

Prescription 1: 10 grams of Schizonepeta, 10 grams of Saposhnikovia, 30 grams of Lithospermum, 30 grams of Astragalus, 20 grams of Sophora flavescens, 20 grams of Kochia scoparia, and 20 grams of Taraxacum, decocted in water and taken orally.

Prescription 2: 10 grams of ephedra, 10 grams of cicada shell, 10 grams of forsythia, 10 grams of duckweed, 10 grams of moutan bark, 10 grams of peach kernel, 20 grams of white moss peel, decocted in water and taken orally.

The traditional Chinese medicine treatment for urticaria mainly adopts the method of oral administration. If the skin itching is unbearable, you can also use 1 to 2 Chinese herbal medicines such as purple-backed duckweed, Xanthium sibiricum, Schizonepeta tenuifolia, Perilla frutescens leaves, and Stemona bulbs, and boil 120 grams of each into a decoction for external washing.

The above is an introduction to Chinese medicine remedies for treating urticaria. Practice has shown that folk remedies are effective in treating urticaria to a certain extent, but folk remedies alone usually cannot completely cure urticaria. Therefore, when you have the disease, you cannot rely solely on folk remedies to treat it. It is also crucial to go to a regular hospital for professional treatment in time.
