How long does it take for newborn fat particles to disappear?

The appearance of fat particles in newborns is a common physiological phenomenon. As a new mother or father, don’t be too anxious. This is also called baby acne. Generally, after a period of care, the child’s fat particles will gradually disappear. The fat particles in newborns are mainly caused by some hormones brought from the mother. As a baby, there are no other symptoms. They will gradually disappear in one to half a month.

What should I do if my newborn baby has fat granules on his face? Fat granules are small white bumps that grow on the skin. They are about the size of a needle tip and look like small white sesame seeds. They usually appear on the face, especially around the eyes of women. The cause of fat particles is a tiny wound on the skin, and during the process of the skin's self-repair, a small white cyst is generated. It may also be because the sebum is covered by keratin and cannot be discharged to the epidermis normally, thus accumulating and forming white particles in the skin. It often occurs on the knees and arms. 1. A simple way to remove fat particles is to apply glycerin evenly on the fat particles after washing your face every day. The fat particles will dry up in about two weeks and can be easily peeled off. 2. Never squeeze it. The baby's skin is tender and prone to inflammation. Some of it is also related to the weather. When the weather is hot, the baby's face is prone to inflammation. You can give the baby more water every day. As the baby grows up, the fat particles will slowly disappear. 3. Because it is not very serious, you can use a needle to pick it out. Wait until the fat particles turn white or light yellow. Take an embroidery needle, disinfect it with alcohol, and slowly and carefully pick out the white thick particles inside, being gentle. Don't drill into the flesh. Use a cotton swab dipped in alcohol to disinfect the wound. Apply some medicine and then cover it with a Band-Aid. Remember to change the Band-Aid twice a day and never get it wet.

Symptoms of small red spots on the newborn's face

If the red spots on your baby's face are not caused by heat and humidity, then they may be eczema. Eczema has the following characteristics, and parents can make judgments based on them: 1. Distribution. It is initially seen on the skin of the head and face, such as the forehead and cheeks, and then gradually appears on the chin, neck, shoulders and back. 2. Shape characteristics. The initial symptoms are redness of the skin, small red papules on the local skin, only as big as a needle tip, and redness and swelling. Some babies will have desquamation and small blisters, which will form scabs and become thicker after being scratched.

3. Distinguish between acne and eczema: 1. Eczema usually occurs two months after the baby is born, and the condition will improve after the baby is six months old. Eczema can be very itchy, and babies can’t help scratching it, and liquid will flow out after scratching. 2. As for acne, it will appear soon after the baby is born. In addition to being related to the secretion of sebaceous glands, acne is also related to the level of maternal male hormones. Acne usually appears on the face as small, white, granular papules. If parents find that it is acne, they just need to make sure the baby's face is clean and comfortable. When redness is found around small papules, it means that the acne has a secondary infection and a small amount of erythromycin eye ointment can be applied locally.
