Chronic atrophic gastritis grade 1

Chronic atrophic gastritis grade 1

Chronic gastritis diseases are becoming more and more common nowadays. Most people suffer from it because they do not pay attention to regulating their stomach and intestines. Patients with chronic gastritis can be divided into several levels. The most common one is level one gastritis. When chronic atrophic gastritis reaches level one, it is in the early stage. You can rest in bed first, pay attention to diet arrangements, avoid intake of high-nutrition, high-fat foods, and eat more foods that promote digestion.

Diet therapy

1. Consume liquid food

For acute gastritis, the cause should be eliminated, the patient should rest in bed, and any food or medicine that may irritate the stomach should be avoided. The patient may be fasted or given liquid food as appropriate. If there is bleeding, hemostatic treatment should be given.

2. Avoid eating rough and irritating foods

Avoid eating foods that are too hard, too spicy, too salty, too hot, too rough and irritating, such as fried foods, pickled foods, chili peppers, garlic, etc. Regardless of whether citrus juice, tomato products, coffee, alcohol and all foods that directly irritate the esophagus will cause stomach acid, you'd better avoid eating them.

3. Avoid high-fat foods

High-fat foods, alcohol, sugar, and chocolate can relax the sphincter and cause reflux, so if you have heartburn, you should avoid these foods.

4. Ascaris slows down digestion

Chewing slowly and thoroughly will definitely help your digestion. You should chew your food thoroughly so that it mixes well with your saliva. Avoiding stress while eating will give your digestion a good start.

5. Eat regularly

Pay attention to dietary conditioning and maintenance, eat regularly, at fixed times and in fixed quantities to maintain the normal rhythm of digestive activities. Do not eat one meal and skip the next, or skip breakfast, and especially avoid overeating.

6. Pay attention to nutritional balance

The food should be mainly nutritious, easily digestible soft food, eat more food containing plant protein and vitamins. You can eat cooked millet, rice porridge, goat milk, yogurt, white cheese, kefir. If the symptoms are severe, eat some soft food, such as rice soup, avocado, banana, potato, pumpkin, mash all the vegetables and then cook them. Occasionally, eat some steamed vegetables, such as carrots, carrots and broccoli.

Pathological etiology The etiology of chronic atrophic gastritis is still unclear, but it may be related to the following factors:

(1) Continuation of chronic superficial gastritis: Chronic atrophic gastritis can develop from chronic superficial gastritis. Six hospitals including the PLA General Hospital reported 164 cases of superficial gastritis after 5 to 8 years of follow-up observation, of which 34 cases developed into chronic atrophic gastritis (20.7%). The causes of chronic superficial gastritis can all become the pathogenic and aggravating factors of chronic atrophic gastritis.

(2) Genetic factors: According to the Varis survey, the incidence of chronic atrophic gastritis is significantly increased among the first-generation relatives of patients with chronic atrophic gastritis. The genetic factors of pernicious anemia are also very obvious. The incidence rate among relatives is 20 times higher than that of the control group, indicating that chronic atrophic gastritis may be related to genetic factors.

(3) Metal contact: Lead workers have a high incidence of gastric ulcers. Gastric mucosal biopsy found that the incidence of atrophic gastritis was also increased, which Polmer called excretory gastritis. In addition to lead, many heavy metals such as mercury, tellurium, copper and zinc have a certain damaging effect on the gastric mucosa.

(4) Radiation: Radiation therapy for ulcers or other tumors can damage or even atrophy the gastric mucosa.
