If you experience tingling in the right shoulder blade area, it may be caused by myofasciitis, a common disease that is an aseptic inflammatory reaction. For example, when the human body is affected by cold, excessive fatigue, or improper sleeping posture, this symptom may occur. It often leads to problems with the muscles and ligaments in the shoulder and neck, and acute or chronic injuries to the joint capsule. Chronic strain is one of the most common causes of the disease . When muscles and fascia are damaged, fibrosis occurs, which puts the soft tissue in a state of high tension, resulting in tiny tearing injuries. Finally, the fibrous tissue increases and contracts, squeezing the local capillaries and peripheral nerves and causing pain. A damp and cold climate is another important factor in the development of the disease. Dampness and coldness can cause muscle vasoconstriction, ischemia, and edema, leading to local fibrous serous exudation and ultimately fibrositis. Chronic infection, depression, sleep disorders, hypothyroidism and hyperuricemia are also common complications of myofasciitis. The following are some common inducing factors: 1. Some patients have a history of trauma of varying degrees. When muscles and fascia are injured, if they are not treated promptly or the treatment is incomplete, hidden dangers will remain and the disease will occur over time. 2. Although many patients have no obvious history of acute trauma, they may develop the disease due to long periods of sitting at work and little activity; or due to poor working posture, being in a single specific posture for a long time; or due to work stress, continuous weight bearing, excessive fatigue, etc. 3. Being affected by wind, cold and dampness, the meridians are blocked, the flow of qi and blood is poor, the nutrition and metabolism of muscle fascia are affected, and the disease is caused by prolonged delay. 4. The patient is weak and has a weak immune system; or there is a congenital variation (deformity) of the lumbar vertebrae; or it is induced by a degenerative spinal disease (osteophyte).Disease treatment: (1) Eliminate the cause: such as anti-rheumatoid, anti-inflammatory, and scar release; (2) Improve blood supply: Exercise, massage, heat therapy (infrared, laser, cupping, acupuncture), etc. are effective but not curative and have a high recurrence rate; (3) Anti-inflammatory and analgesic: can alleviate symptoms and improve quality of life; (4) Physical exercise: anti-gravity muscle training. (5) Antidepressant treatment. (6)Eliminate the pain points: |
