There are many reasons that cause neck pain. Working at a desk for a long time or playing with a mobile phone in the same posture can cause neck pain. Especially because of work, some people have to work at a desk for years. This kind of neck pain needs to be relieved in time. The most serious consequence is neck pain. Therefore, the phenomenon of neck pain should be taken seriously and resolved in a timely manner. So, what are some tips for relieving neck pain?

Ice compress: When your neck feels a little stiff, you may want to use an ice pack or ice cubes in a towel to apply ice. If the neck is slightly injured, ice can help reduce swelling. Heat therapy is an excellent palliative after ice has been used to reduce inflammation. You can use a heating pad or take a hot bath. Take pain relievers. Anti-inflammatory drugs sold at the pharmacy, such as aspirin or ibuprofen, can help reduce inflammation and relieve pain. Take 3-4 times a day, 2 tablets each time.

Carry with Care When lifting heavy objects, people often ignore the correct method of carrying them. As you squat with your knees bent, keep your spine upright and place the weight between your feet (about shoulder-width apart). When you lift this weight, keep it as close to your body as possible.

Sleeping on a Hard Mattress Many neck problems are caused or exacerbated by poor sleeping habits. Finding a firm mattress can solve this problem. In addition, "many people with neck pain sleep better without a pillow." If you feel the same way, you might want to ditch the pillow.

Don't sleep on your stomach as this not only hurts your back but also your neck. It is best to get into the fetal position with your knees bent up to your chest.

Wear a scarf In cold and wet weather, you may wear a hat, but don't forget that your neck also needs protection to avoid aggravating neck stiffness and soreness.

Relax Tension and stress can cause your neck muscles to tighten and cause pain. You might want to learn some relaxation techniques (such as meditation). Try to stay relaxed and at ease.
