The treatment principle is to nourish Yin, calm the liver, and suppress Yang, and also to give blood-nourishing and tranquilizing drugs. In recent years, iodine-containing Chinese medicines have been rarely used because excessive iodine intake can aggravate hyperthyroidism and make it difficult to control.
