When faced with sick pigs, people will take some measures to regulate their condition. Using traditional Chinese medicine and working hard on the formula is a good choice. Here we will introduce some Chinese herbal pig farming formulas.

1. For summer use only.

1000 grams of dandelion, 1000 grams of Houttuynia cordata, 1000 grams of Isatis indigotica, 600 grams of Scutellaria baicalensis, 500 grams of Isatis root, 500 grams of Schizonepeta tenuifolia, 500 grams of Saposhnikovia divaricata, 250 grams of malt, 250 grams of Shenqu, and 250 grams of licorice. This recipe has the effects of clearing away heat and detoxifying, clearing away heat accumulated in the lungs and stomach, stimulating appetite and digestion, and improving immunity. Using this recipe in summer can help prevent high fever. This prescription does not require the addition of western medicine when used. The author has used it for many years and it is very effective. When using, grind various Chinese medicines into fine powder and mix them evenly, add 10 kilograms to every ton of feed (the amount can be doubled if there is an epidemic threat), and use it for 15 consecutive days. Some probiotics can be added to the feed during the period when no medication is added. It is available to the whole group without any adverse reactions. If you use an ultra-fine grinder to grind Chinese herbs, you can reduce the amount by half when adding them. After a course of treatment, it can be used again after one or two months.

2. Relieve cough and asthma.

1 kg each of coltsfoot, Fritillaria, Platycodon, 0.5 kg each of Anemarrhena, Apricot, Ophiopogon, 3 kg of Gardenia, 0.5 kg of Licorice, and 2 kg of Gypsum, ground into fine powder. This prescription has the effect of clearing lung heat, relieving cough and asthma. It was developed by the author by referring to Chinese medicine books and the effect is very good. The preventive dosage is 5 kg per ton of feed, and the therapeutic dosage is 10-15 kg per ton of feed, for continuous use for 10-15 days. If the pigs are coughing and wheezing severely, adding compound tilmicosin powder to the feed will have a better effect.

It should be noted that Chinese medicine takes a long time to take effect and must be used strictly according to the course of treatment.

3. Immune Enhancement

The main purpose is to improve and promote the body's nonspecific immune function, and enhance the animal's immunity and disease resistance. It has been determined that astragalus, Acanthopanax, Codonopsis, Phytolacca, Aristolochia, Melon stalk, Angelica, Epimedium, Andrographis paniculata, Garlic, Poria, Buffalo horn, and Polyporus can be used as immune enhancers.

4. Hormone-like effects

This type of additive can have a similar effect on the body as hormone regulation. It has been found that Cyperus rotundus, Angelica sinensis, Licorice, Psoralea corylifolia, Cnidium monnieri, etc. have estrogen-like effects; Epimedium, ginseng, Cordyceps sinensis, etc. have androgen-like effects; Asarum, Aconitum, Evodia rutaecarpa, Alpinia officinalis, Schisandra chinensis, etc. have adrenaline-like effects; Buffalo horn, Andrographis paniculata, Gentiana macrophylla, Tripterygium wilfordii, etc. have adrenocorticotropic hormone-like effects; Ziziphus jujuba seed, Lycium barbarum, garlic, etc. have choleretic effects.

5. Anti-stress

It has the function of alleviating and preventing and treating stress syndrome. For example, Acanthopanax, Ginseng, Corydalis, etc. can improve the body's resistance; Astragalus, Codonopsis, etc. can prevent adrenal hyperplasia and thymic atrophy during the alert period of stress response, and prevent abnormal changes in the resistance and exhaustion periods of stress response, and play an anti-stress role; Bupleurum, Scutellaria, Commelina, Buffalo Horn, Pheretima, Salix babylonica, etc. have the effect of resisting heat shock.
