How is vasculitis caused?

How is vasculitis caused?

There are many causes of vasculitis, and the onset is relatively complicated. It is closely related to the patients' frequent smoking and drinking. Smoking can cause vasospasm, which is one of the important causes of this disease. In addition, living in a cold and humid environment can easily lead to vasodilation disorders, which is also an important cause of vasculitis. In addition, vasculitis also has certain genetic factors.

How is vasculitis caused?

The causes of vasculitis are relatively complex and are generally related to the following factors: 1. Smoking can lead to vasospasm. 80%-95% of people with this disease have a history of smoking; 2. Cold and humidity can cause vasodilation disorders; 3. Lack of sex hormones and prostaglandins can lead to hypercoagulable state of blood and cause thrombosis; 4. Low autoimmune function can cause disease; 5. Infection can cause vascular inflammatory hyperplasia; 6. Hyperlipidemia and high blood viscosity; 7. Stimulation from chemical drugs; 8. Disease factors such as increased blood viscosity in diabetics, which can easily form plaques and thrombi in blood vessels; 9. Family inheritance.

The main causes of vasculitis are as follows: (1) Smoking factors (2) Endocrine factors (3) The effects of cold, humidity, malnutrition, trauma, bacterial infection and toxins on the disease. (4) Genetic factors are involved. This disease is related to genetic factors. There have been reports abroad and some domestic scholars have similar views, but the existing data cannot confirm that this disease is related to genetic factors. (5) Immune factors: There are two views in the research of scholars at home and abroad: one is that this disease is consistent with type III hypersensitivity reaction; the other view is that in addition to type III hypersensitivity reaction, type IV delayed hypersensitivity reaction may also be involved in the pathogenesis of this disease. (6) Blood coagulation tendency (7) Symptoms of each stage of the disease Early stage: coldness, fear of cold, numbness, mild pain in the extremities, and intermittent claudication. The skin of the toes (fingers) becomes pale, the skin temperature is low, and the redness test is positive. The peripheral arterial fluctuations weaken or disappear, and some patients may have recurrent migratory thrombotic superficial phlebitis. Middle stage: The affected limb becomes cold, afraid of cold, numb, painful and intermittent claudication worsens. There is resting pain and severe pain at night. The patient sits with his feet hugged and cannot sleep all night. Nutritional disorders of the foot skin are manifested by pale, flushed, purple or bluish skin, and reduced or no sweating on the feet. Late stage: Due to severe ischemia of the affected limb, ulcers or gangrene occur at the extremities, often starting from the toes and gradually spreading upward. The gangrene is dry or wet, most of the time confined to the toes or feet, and may also affect the ankles or calves. Seriously affect the patient's quality of life. treat.

4. Diagnosis: When patients show early symptoms, they should go to the hospital as soon as possible. If conditions permit, CTA examination of both lower limb arteries is the best way to diagnose vasculitis.
