What causes back muscle pain?

Muscle pain in the back is the most common phenomenon. This is because people's backs usually bear greater physical pressure, and some people's backs also bear a huge burden of life, resulting in long-term compression of the back and suppression of muscle nerves for too long, resulting in symptoms of pain. However, these reasons are relatively easy to find. In fact, the real cause of back muscle pain is more complicated. Let's take a look at the causes of back muscle pain.

Shoulder and back muscle pain may be caused by cervical spondylosis, or it may be caused by lumbar myofasciitis or phlegm and dampness.

1. Neck, shoulder and back pain on rainy days: The dorsal scapular nerve is a nerve that comes from the C5 nerve root and merges with the long thoracic nerve. The main symptoms of dorsal scapular nerve compression are discomfort and soreness in the neck, shoulders and back. Neck discomfort is related to the weather, and is aggravated on rainy days and in winter, and may also be aggravated after fatigue. Dorsal scapular nerve block can treat neck and shoulder pain. Modern experts have proposed surgical treatment options with good results.

2. Shoulder blade pain: Shoulder blade is also called scapula or scapula. Located behind the thorax, it is a triangular flat bone between the 2nd to 7th ribs. Shoulder blade pain is caused by prolonged muscle spasm and deformation. It may also be the result of chronic muscle inflammation caused by maintaining the same posture for a long time.

3. Shoulder joint pain: Shoulder pain and discomfort: also known as scapulohumeral periarthritis, frozen shoulder, and those with prominent shoulder joint dysfunction are also known as frozen shoulder.

4. Shoulder pain: Shoulder pain is generally caused by periarthritis of the shoulder or cervical spondylosis.

5. Shoulder and back pain: There are many patients with shoulder and back pain, most of which are caused by local bone or soft tissue diseases in the shoulder and back. It is also possible that the tumor has metastasized to the shoulder. Therefore, in clinical treatment of back pain, one should not treat the shoulder pain by treating the shoulder, or the back pain by treating the back. Blindly using treatment methods such as massage, scraping, cupping, etc. will cause the patient to lose the best opportunity for treatment.

6. Back pain: radiating pain in the waist, back, shoulders and legs.
