At the same time, there are many types of anti-inflammatory drugs. Different types of anti-inflammatory drugs have different therapeutic effects. Anti-inflammatory drugs are divided into two types: oral anti-inflammatory drugs and topical anti-inflammatory drugs. However, there are only a few anti-inflammatory drugs with the best therapeutic effects. However, many people still don’t know about them. So which oral anti-inflammatory drug is the best?

Anti-inflammatory drugs are very common in China. No matter whether it is children or adults, they have to take an anti-inflammatory drug after taking any medicine. In fact, anti-inflammatory drugs are also a kind of antibiotics. They are generally used to treat diseases caused by infections and have therapeutic effects on inflammation.

If the inflammation is not caused by infection, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents or steroids are used medically to suppress the inflammatory response. In China, calling antibiotics anti-inflammatory drugs has exacerbated the abuse of antibiotics to a certain extent.

1. Penicillins: Commonly used ones include penicillin G, penicillin V, methicillin (New Penicillin I), ampicillin (ampicillin), amoxicillin (hydroxyampicillin), ticarcillin (carboxytic thiophene penicillin), piperacillin (oxypiperacillin), etc.

Suitable for respiratory tract, skin and soft tissue, urinary and reproductive tract infections, etc. The main advantages of penicillins are their strong bactericidal effect, few toxic side effects, they are relatively safe for use by pregnant women and children, and they do not affect liver function.

However, it should be noted that its main adverse reactions are allergic reactions, including allergic dermatitis. Serum sickness, rash, contact dermatitis, etc. Use with caution in patients with severe renal impairment.

2. Cephalosporins: can be divided into four generations. The first-generation cephalosporins for injection include cefazolin (Xianfeng No. 5), cefadroxil (Xianfeng No. 6), etc., and the oral ones include cephalexin (Xianfeng No. 4), cefadroxil (Xianfeng No. 6), cefadroxil, etc. Suitable for respiratory tract, skin and soft tissue, urinary and reproductive tract infections, etc.

3. New β-lactams: such as carbapenems such as imipenem/cilastatin (trade name: Tylenol) and meropenem. Carbapenems are the class of antibacterial drugs with the broadest antibacterial spectrum and the strongest antibacterial effect developed to date. They have the characteristics of broad spectrum, strong efficacy, and low incidence of bacterial resistance, but they are expensive. Suitable for infections anywhere in the body. High doses may cause adverse reactions in the central nervous system such as convulsions, twitching, headaches, etc.

4. Aminoglycosides: Aminoglycosides are broad-spectrum antibiotics with good bactericidal effects on Gram-negative bacteria and are suitable for lower respiratory tract, urinary tract, intestinal infections, etc.

Different varieties have different characteristics. Gentamicin, tobramycin, netilmicin, and amikacin (amikacin) are commonly used varieties, among which netilmicin has stronger antibacterial activity and lower oto-kidney toxicity. Streptomycin is now mainly used to treat tuberculosis.

Spectinomycin can be used to treat gonorrhea. Neomycin is used only orally and topically because of its high ototoxicity. It is contraindicated for people who are allergic to this type of drug, and should be used with caution by people with renal insufficiency, the elderly, and pregnant women.
