How to treat facial hair follicles

Redness of facial hair follicles, commonly known as mites. Almost everyone has mites on their face. If there are too many mites, it will have a great impact on the skin, causing skin problems such as pustules, papules, erythema, and may even cause disfigurement. Therefore, if you find Demodex on your face, you must seek timely treatment and adopt the correct treatment method. Below we will give you a detailed introduction to the treatment methods for facial hair follicles!

1. Introduction to Trichocystis

Demodex, also known as Demodex and hair follicle mites, parasitizes on the hair follicles and sebaceous glands of many mammals, including humans. It is a permanent parasitic mite. There are two types of Demodex mites that parasitize the human body. One is the hair follicle Demodex, which parasitizes the hair follicles; the other is the sebaceous gland Demodex, which parasitizes the sebaceous glands. Both types of Demodex mites can parasitize on the same person. This human demodex mite is commonly known as Demodex. The chronic inflammation caused by Demodex that parasitizes the human body is called demodicosis. The clinical manifestations are erythema, papules, pustules, scabs, and desquamation in areas of sebum secretion such as the face and back. Since Demodex infection invades the human facial skin, it not only causes a red nose, but in severe cases it can also ruin a person's face, so it should not be ignored.

2. Treatment Methods

There is currently no satisfactory drug that can kill the adults, larvae and eggs of Trichocystis. The following medicines may be used:

1. Metronidazole tablets, three times a day, 15 days as a course of treatment. Stop the medication for two weeks before starting the second course of treatment.

2. For those with secondary infection, minocycline can be given twice a day for 15 days as a course of treatment, or erythromycin can be used 3 times a day.

3. On the basis of keeping the face clean, external medications such as benzoyl peroxide, sulfur or metronidazole can be given.

If your facial skin is too oily and has persistent erythema, papules, pustules and desquamation, and your skin hair follicles and capillaries are dilated, you should go to the hospital for treatment. If Demodex is detected, medication can be used, which means that "mite removal" should be carried out under the guidance of a doctor.

Do not use inferior cosmetics containing hormones and do not abuse steroid hormone ointments to avoid damaging the skin's normal immune function. For patients with severe conditions, oral and topical medications can be used, such as oral metronidazole tablets or heat-clearing and detoxifying Chinese medicines such as Sophora flavescens, Stemona bulbus, Crataegus pinnatifida, Scutellaria baicalensis, etc., and external use of sulfur, benzoyl peroxide, benzyl benzoate or Chinese medicine Gleditsia sinensis for cleaning. At the same time, develop good hygiene habits and pay attention to keeping your facial skin clean.

3. How to prevent

1. Pay attention to personal hygiene, take a bath and change clothes frequently, keep your face and hands clean, and allow facial sebum to be discharged normally.

2. Avoid prolonged close contact with people with oily skin or those with acne, blackheads, pimples, or rosacea, and don’t share towels with them.

3. For friends with oily skin and large pores, it is recommended to go to the hospital for a mite test. For the physical and mental health of your family and children, we should treat mites early if they are present, and prevent them if they are not!
