What medicine should I take for dilated cardiomyopathy?

Many people may not know much about dilated cardiomyopathy. It is a very serious disease. If it is not treated in time, it will weaken the human heart function and block the blood circulation, which may endanger our lives. Therefore, we must do a good job of prevention, timely detection and timely treatment. So what medicine should you take for cardiomyopathy? Today I will tell you what medicine to take for dilated cardiomyopathy.

Dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) is a primary myocardial disease of unknown cause. The disease is characterized by left or right ventricular enlargement or bilateral ventricular enlargement, accompanied by ventricular systolic dysfunction, with or without congestive heart failure. Ventricular or atrial arrhythmias are common. The disease is progressive and death can occur at any stage of the disease.

Dilated cardiomyopathy is a heart disease of unknown cause, characterized by progressive dilation of the heart chambers and myocardial contractile dysfunction. It can occur in people of all ages and is the most common type of primary cardiomyopathy. It is often accompanied by severe arrhythmias, thromboembolism or even sudden death, and the mortality rate is high. Western medicine does not yet have an ideal treatment.

Clinically, it mainly focuses on symptomatic treatment of heart failure and various arrhythmias. If the disease is not well controlled, heart failure and arrhythmia will recur. Yudan Rongxin regulates myocardial metabolism and body immunity. Combined with Yudan Shengui, it can effectively curb the vicious cycle of myocardial insufficiency, myocardial damage and heart failure. It solves the key problems that dilated cardiomyopathy requires long-term use of Western medicine, especially digitalis drugs, which have great toxic side effects and poor efficacy. Long-term clinical practice has shown that the combination of the two drugs is more effective in treating dilated cardiomyopathy after myocarditis.

Most doctors believe that digitalis is useful in congestive heart failure. It can increase cardiac index and reduce pulmonary wedge pressure. In addition to its positive inotropic effect, its extracardiac effect may be equally important. It can change the response of pressure receptors and cause venous dilation; it may have an inhibitory effect on the release of renin by the kidneys. In addition, the risk of hypotension caused by vasodilators can be reduced. Digitalis is not only effective for severe congestive heart failure, but studies have shown that it is also beneficial even for mild congestive heart failure.

At low doses (<2ug·kg/min), dopamine 1 receptors are activated, coronary blood flow is increased, cerebral vasodilation, and blood flow are increased. At medium doses (2-5ug·kg/min), β1 receptors are activated, causing increased myocardial contractility, while systemic circulatory resistance remains unchanged or decreases. At high doses (5-10ug·kg/min), α receptors and serotonin receptors are activated, increasing coronary and peripheral vascular resistance and heart rate. Therefore, the key to the application of dopamine is to master the dosage. An appropriate dosage can increase cardiac output and increase renal sodium excretion. Large doses of dopamine cannot be used in severe heart failure.
