Treating rhinitis by sucking water from the nose

Treating rhinitis by sucking water from the nose

We will find that many people with rhinitis will use a neti pot to clean their nasal cavity when they wake up every morning. The method of use is also very simple. Just inhale the water into the nose and spit it out. In fact, this situation is normal, because many people have rhinitis, and their noses are blocked and nasal mucus is in the nasal cavity, which causes dryness and affects normal breathing. Therefore, the nose must be cleaned to achieve the effect of treating rhinitis.

Method/Steps: Sophora japonica honey can cure atrophic rhinitis

A colleague was diagnosed with atrophic rhinitis, and she developed a treatment method of her own which was very effective. When washing your face every morning and evening, use your little finger to dip in running tap water to clean your nostrils to remove the scabs and secretions in the nasal cavity. After fully exposing the nasal mucosa, use a cotton swab or finger to dip in commercially available locust flower honey and evenly apply it to the affected area of the nasal cavity. She persisted in her own treatment for more than two months, and her nasal cavity no longer felt painful or itchy, there was no hernia-like secretion, and her sense of smell had basically returned to normal.

Comment: It is recommended to use a nasal rinser to clean the nostrils. Using your little finger may easily damage the nasal mucosa.

Rhinitis cured by saline nasal washing

I have suffered from rhinitis for many years and it has not been cured. I have lost confidence in the cure. I came across a recipe last year: prepare salt water (put two spoons of salt in a 100 ml bottle, dilute with boiling water), use a toothpick to wrap a cotton ball and dip it in the salt water to wash your nostrils, then leave the cotton wool in the nostrils temporarily, at this time, either tilt your head back or lie flat, press both sides of the nose with your index finger and thumb, and suck hard, so that the salt water on the cotton ball flows into the nasal cavity and then into the throat. At first you may feel an unbearable pungent sensation inside your nose, but you will get used to it after a few times. You can also start by washing with lighter saline and gradually increase the concentration to allow your nasal cavity to adapt slowly. I insisted on washing my nose once in the morning and once in the evening. After more than a month, my nasal cavity was unobstructed, my sense of smell was sensitive, and my rhinitis that had lasted for many years was cured.

Comment: Nowadays, many parents use a cotton swab dipped in light salt water to wash their children's noses. This is actually a wrong way to wash the nose. "Doing this can only clean the area of the anterior nostril at best, and the nasal mucosa is basically unreachable. It is also very easy to touch the bleeding area at the front of the nasal cavity, which not only fails to achieve the effect of nasal washing, but also has the risk of inducing nose bleeding.

Luffa vine for sinusitis

Sinusitis patients have tried a variety of treatment methods with poor results. Later, I accidentally found a prescription and achieved good results. The method is: find several meters of old loofah vines, dry them in the sun, cut them into thin sections, and then bake them on tiles until they are half-burnt (be sure not to let them become burnt), then grind them into fine powder on a panel, and put them in a bottle for later use. When using, clean the mucus in the nasal cavity, wipe the nasal cavity with a clean cotton ball, then use a thin plastic tube (such as the small tube used for drinking yogurt), ask your family to help blow the loofah vine powder into the nasal cavity, and then plug the nostrils with a dry cotton ball. This method is best applied before going to bed at night. It can be cured after several days.

Comment: Be careful when blowing loofah vine powder into the nasal cavity and do not inhale it into the trachea. Cold water for rhinitis

In 1975, I developed severe sinusitis. Using a bottle of nasal drops every two days is not enough. As soon as you stop taking the medicine, your nostrils will become blocked immediately. It cannot be cured for a long time. At this time, a doctor named Zhang said a folk remedy: Don't use hot water to wash your face, use cold water. Use the palm of your hand to hold cold water from the tap, cover your nose with it, inhale the cold water into your nostrils, and then blow it out, then hold water again and inhale it, then blow it out again. Repeat this several times and do it every day. I used this cold water therapy for 10 days and my sinusitis was cured. Over the past 20 years, I have never stopped using cold water therapy, and my sinusitis has not recurred.

Comments: When flushing, slow down your breathing, gently inhale water through your nose, pause for a moment, and then exhale. Be careful not to use excessive force to prevent choking.   Garlic for rhinitis

I suffered from rhinitis and after years of treatment, there was no obvious effect. Sometimes it gets better, sometimes it gets worse. The patient was cured with a prescription introduced by a Chinese medicine doctor, and was later introduced to many people, all of whom showed obvious effects. Mash a clove of garlic, wrap it in a clean bean curd cloth, squeeze out the garlic juice and drop two drops into each nostril (it will be very painful at the time). Then press the nose a few times with your hands so that the garlic juice can stick to the nostrils. Mild cases can be cured after one application, and severe cases can be cured after two applications.

Comments: Garlic is very irritating, so please start with a small amount; it is not recommended for those who are allergic to garlic.
