Reasons for delayed implantation of transplanted fresh embryos

Reasons for delayed implantation of transplanted fresh embryos

The time of embryo implantation is not fixed and mainly depends on one's physical condition. Some people have poor physical constitution, so implantation occurs relatively late. The normal time is generally 3 to 4 days, and a delay of one or two days is also normal. After embryo transfer, you must pay more attention to rest and avoid strenuous exercise. You can put a soft pillow under your waist and abdomen to increase the chances of pregnancy.

How many days after fresh embryo transfer will it implant?

The number of days it takes for implantation depends on one's own condition. Generally, it takes about 3-4 days after transplantation, but in a few cases, implantation occurs later due to individual differences.

At the same time, IVF can be used for pregnancy testing one week after embryo transfer. Blood tests were done in the hospital about 14 days after the transplant, and urine tests were not very accurate. The actual results are determined by a blood test.

Things to note after IVF transplantation:

1. Diet: Eat whatever you want, especially vegetables and protein-rich foods. It is recommended to eat one grapefruit every day. Not recommended: wine, cigarettes, coffee, tea, sesame oil, bananas, papayas, crabs, corn, and coix seeds, as these are not good for the embryo.

2. Rest: Within 48 hours after the transplant, lie down as much as possible and try to stay flat. Do not turn around or stand up while lying in bed. Stand up first and support your body with your hands. Then, after 48 hours, you can lie down in bed (less than a 45-degree angle). Watch less TV, or watch TV and surf the Internet less.

Read something to kill time, being careful not to get emotionally agitated. Try to rest as much as possible. After three days, you can take part in a few small activities for five days, and after five days you can do a small amount of outdoor activities, especially if you don’t have to work too hard. It is best not to go to work before you find out you are pregnant. Don't stay up late and get enough sleep.

In vitro fertilization embryo transfer is the last and most critical step of in vitro fertilization. If the embryo successfully implants, it means that the in vitro fertilization operation is successful. Female friends can have their own babies and no longer have to envy others.

It usually takes 3-5 days for the embryo to implant after IVF transfer. Because each patient's physical condition is different, the time for frozen embryo implantation during in vitro fertilization is also different. It usually takes 3-5 days for the embryo to implant. For some patients, the frozen embryos can be successfully implanted 3-7 days after transplantation, while for some patients, it takes 7-14 days to achieve successful implantation. Therefore, doctors recommend that patients who conceive through IVF should come to the hospital for a blood test on the 14th day after the IVF transfer if they want to know whether the frozen embryos have implanted and whether they are pregnant.

After conceiving through IVF technology, you should maintain a good attitude, pay attention to your diet, do not stay in bed all day, and exercise appropriately, but do not do strenuous exercise. There is no need to pay too much attention to how many days it will take for the frozen embryos to implant in IVF. Doing so will bring you great psychological pressure and easily affect the success rate of IVF.
