HPV is a contagious disease that is mainly transmitted through sexual intercourse. People who have chaotic private lives and do not pay attention to hygiene are likely to be infected. This disease is highly contagious and can only be transmitted to humans. It can be cured through regular treatment. HPV treatment drugs are divided into traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine. The therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese medicine is slower, while Western medicine needs to be combined with multiple drugs to be cured. Let's take a look at what HPV treatment drugs are available. 1. Western medicine for the treatment of HPV: 1. Antiviral drugs: HPV patients can use 5% phthalamide cream or 0.25% iodine ointment, applied externally twice a day. Acyclovir can be taken orally, 200 mg 5 times a day; or interferon α2b can be applied topically using its ointment. Or inject 3 million units of interferon into the base of the wart twice a week for 2 to 3 weeks. The main adverse reaction is influenza-like syndrome, and this method has a high probability of recurrence. 2. Corrosive agents or disinfectants: HPV patients often use 30% to 50% trichloroacetic acid or saturated or dichloroacetic acid, or 18% peracetic acid. Use 10% salicylic acid glacial acetic acid or 40% formaldehyde, 2% liquefied phenol, 75% ethanol distilled water mixed solution 100ml, apply it locally, for use on the glans penis and perianal HPV, once a day or every other day, the effect is very good. The disinfectant can be applied externally with 20% iodine tincture, or 2.5% to 5% iodine tincture can be injected into the base of the wart, 0.1 to 1.5 ml each time, or benzalkonium bromide (Sanisol) can be applied externally or 0.1% to 0.2% can be applied externally. The latter needs to be combined with systemic treatment to achieve better results in removing warts. 2. Traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of HPV: Chinese medicine therapy uses traditional Chinese medicines such as pangolin, Sichuan coptis, Patrinia salsa, red peony root, iron gall powder, Hainan agarwood, astragalus, isatis root, wild chrysanthemum, raw rehmannia, and Artemisia capillaris for treatment. It is effective and has definite therapeutic effects. Many patients do not relapse after being cured, and the treatment process is painless. If all the drugs are used together, the body can produce endogenous interferon, which can block the replication of the HPV virus, just like vasectomy, preventing it from producing new viruses, thereby completely eliminating the HPV virus and achieving the goal of curing HPV. In addition, these drugs can enhance the body's immune function, activate immune response, and strongly resist viruses, making the treatment of HPV both thorough and rapid. The characteristic of traditional Chinese medicine is that it has few side effects. It mainly prescribes some Chinese patent medicines and herbal medicines for clearing away heat and detoxifying, which can relieve symptoms to a certain extent. However, the treatment process is relatively long, the medicinal properties may be unstable, and the purity is low. Sometimes it may have a relieving or improving effect, but if the prescription is wrong, it cannot fundamentally eliminate the HPV virus. |
