The difference between cervical mucus and leucorrhea Cervical adhesion

There is a big difference between cervical mucus and leucorrhea, and there are different types to distinguish them, but in fact, there is a great connection between the two. Because the mucus in the cervix will flow directly out of the vagina, this is leucorrhea. If the mucus is abnormally high or low in amount, it may affect the overall health of the body.

What is the difference between cervical mucus and leucorrhea?

Cervical mucus and leucorrhea are different. Although there are certain differences, there is an inseparable relationship between the two. Leucorrhea has many components, and cervical mucus is one of them. It mainly appears around the cervical opening, and plasma protein, sodium chloride, glycoprotein and water hydrogel are the main components.

Leucorrhea is a discharge from the vagina. It is a mixture of exudates from the vaginal mucosa, cervical glands, and of course endometrial glands. It contains desquamated cells from the vaginal epithelium, as well as non-pathogenic bacteria and white blood cells.

The stringy leucorrhea actually refers to the increase in water content and toughness of cervical mucus, resulting in a special state of leucorrhea. During the ovulation period, the secretions will also increase, and the leucorrhea will appear transparent and stringy. Although the leucorrhea can be stretched, it is not easy to break. It is very elastic and appears like egg white. The cervix is the only way for male sperm to invade the uterus. Cervical mucus plays an important protective role for the uterus. Because the cervical mucus has more water and is more tough, it causes the stringy leucorrhea to flow out of the body.

What is the difference between cervical mucus and leucorrhea? Cervical mucus is different from leucorrhea, and cervical mucus is a component of leucorrhea. Leucorrhea is a normal physiological phenomenon of the female body. If there is any abnormality in leucorrhea, there will be certain problems with physical health, so you must observe the leucorrhea carefully.
