Dull pain in the female kidney

Dull pain in the female kidney

If a woman experiences dull pain in the kidney area, there are many reasons for this symptom, such as the common cause of kidney stones. There are also some kidney diseases that may cause this phenomenon. For example, if it is caused by kidney stones, you should go to the urology department in time for a routine blood and urine test, and also have your kidney function checked.

Foods that patients with kidney stones should never eat

People with kidney stones should limit their vitamin C intake. If you are prone to calcium oxalate stones, you should limit your vitamin C intake. Exceeding 3-4 grams a day may increase the production of oxalic acid, thereby increasing the chance of stones. Do not take high-potency vitamin C supplements. Patients with kidney stones should control their calcium intake. About 30% of stones are formed by calcium or calcium-containing products. If your last kidney stones were mainly composed of calcium, you need to pay attention to your calcium intake. If you are taking nutritional supplements, you should first consult your doctor whether they are necessary. Secondly, patients with kidney stones should check their daily intake of high-calcium foods, including milk, cheese, cream and other dairy products. Milk and antacids may cause kidney stones.

Patients with kidney stones should avoid eating foods rich in oxalate. About 60% of kidney stones are calcium oxalate stones. Therefore, you should limit your intake of foods rich in oxalate, including beans, beets, celery, chocolate, grapes, green peppers, cilantro, spinach, strawberries, and vegetables from the cabbage family. Also avoid alcohol, tea, chocolate, dried figs, lamb, nuts, green peppers, black tea, poppy seeds, etc. These are foods that patients with kidney stones must not eat.

Kidney stones dangers

Hazard 1: Affecting kidney function and even causing uremia . If kidney stones exist for a long time without treatment, the stones will stay at the junction of the renal pelvis and ureter, causing urinary tract obstruction. After urinary tract obstruction, the ureters and renal pelvis above the obstruction will expand and accumulate water, affecting renal function. If the blockage lasts for a long time, the entire kidney function may be lost and even lead to uremia. Harm 2: Renal tissue is replaced by fatty tissue. The renal tissue of kidney stones and pyelonephritis may be replaced by fatty tissue after atrophy. The kidneys maintained their original shape but were generally smaller. The renal capsule is tightly adhered to the surface of the kidney, and the renal tissue atrophies and hardens. In severe cases, there is very little kidney tissue left, or it may disappear completely. The space between the renal parenchyma and the renal pelvis and calyces is filled with gray-yellow adipose tissue. Hazard 3: Leading to renal failure If the stones are allowed to develop, they may eventually develop into renal failure, commonly known as uremia. Secondly, if ureteral stones block the ureter, the urine in the kidney cannot be discharged smoothly, which will cause kidney accumulation. Urine will accumulate in the kidney for a long time, leading to secondary infection and even uremia, threatening the patient's life. Hazard 4: Urinary tract infection . Kidney stones usually contain many pathogens. If allowed to exist in a man's body for a long time, it will cause infection. Secondary infection of hydronephrosis may lead to pyonephrosis. Severe urinary tract infection may also cause sepsis and threaten human life. In addition, urinary tract infection can cause stones to increase rapidly.
