Hard lumps on the skin

Hard lumps on the skin

I don’t know if you like to touch your skin in normal times. Sometimes when you touch your skin, you feel small particles under the skin. These small particles are probably fat particles condensed due to excessive obesity, or they may be due to the lymph in the body. Some people find that hard lumps grow under their skin. So why do hard lumps grow in the skin?

You have a subcutaneous lipoma.

Lipomas are composed of well-differentiated adipose tissue. Lipomas on the body surface mainly originate from subcutaneous fat tissue and are commonly seen on the back, buttocks and limbs. They are benign tumors. Multiple lipomas are relatively small, about 1 cm in diameter, and generally do not require treatment after diagnosis. Single larger lipomas should be surgically removed.

Clinical manifestations

1. The lump grows slowly and is generally asymptomatic, with occasional stinging pain when squeezed. 2. The skin on the surface of the tumor is normal, and the tumor is soft, lobed, and has clear boundaries.

Diagnosis

1. The tumor is often solitary, grows slowly, and is generally asymptomatic. 2. The skin on the surface of the tumor is normal, and the tumor is soft, lobed, and has clear boundaries. 3. During the operation, it was found that the tumor had a complete capsule and lobed fatty tissue.

Treatment principles

1. Small (less than 1 cm in diameter) and multiple lipomas generally do not require treatment.

2. Larger tumors should be removed surgically.

It could be a blocked hair follicle or a subcutaneous lipoma, the latter being more likely. It is mainly caused by the accumulation of lipids in the body. In your case, you should eat less fatty foods, avoid spicy foods, and eat more fruits and vegetables. If it is relatively large, you can go to the hospital for removal.
