Effects of Lysine Aspirin Injection

Lysine aspirin injection is an injectable medicine with lysine aspirin as the main ingredient, which is mainly used to treat fever. As a western medicine, lysine injection has certain side effects. During the medication process, if the dosage cannot be controlled, it is likely to cause some adverse reactions in the patient and threaten the patient's health. 1. Ingredients

The main ingredient of this product is lysine aspirin, its chemical name is DL-lysine mono[2-(acetyloxy)benzoate potassium] salt, this product contains 10% glycine as a stabilizer.

2. Indications

It is not suitable for the treatment of fever and moderate pain by oral administration.

3. Usage and Dosage

For intramuscular or intravenous injection, dissolve in 4 ml of water for injection or 0.9% sodium chloride injection and then inject.

1. Adults: 0.9-1.8g each time, twice a day.

2. Children: 10-25 mg/kg per day, divided into 2 doses.

4. Adverse Reactions

1. Gastrointestinal reactions: Short-term use has fewer adverse reactions, occasionally mild gastrointestinal reactions (such as stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting), large doses may cause severe gastrointestinal bleeding. Long-term use leads to a higher incidence of peptic ulcer.

2. Effect on the blood system: This product counteracts the effect of vitamin K, inhibits the synthesis of prothrombin, and prolongs bleeding time. Vitamin K can be used for prevention and treatment. Long-term use can inhibit platelet aggregation and cause bleeding tendency.

3. Effects on liver and kidney function: Long-term use of this product may cause elevated transaminase, liver cell necrosis and kidney damage, which can be recovered by stopping the drug in time.

4. Salicylic acid reaction: Manifestations include headache, dizziness, tinnitus, decreased vision and hearing, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and in severe cases, mental disorders, rapid breathing, acid-base imbalance, bleeding, and even shock.

5. Allergic reactions: A small number of patients may experience allergic reactions such as rash, urticaria, asthma, angioedema or mucosal congestion after taking the medicine. In severe cases, anaphylactic shock may occur. Among them, asthma is more common, and it often occurs in middle-aged people over 30 years old. Difficulty breathing and wheezing occur within a few minutes of taking the medicine, which is called "aspirin asthma". Severe cases can be life-threatening. Reported severe skin damage includes bullous rash, toxic epidermal necrolysis and exfoliative dermatitis.

6. Reye's Syndrome: Children under 16 years old may develop Reye's Syndrome when using this product. Children and adolescents who have had chickenpox or flu-like symptoms within 1-2 weeks should not use this product. If this group of people suddenly experience severe headache, frequent vomiting, and irritability after using this product, they should be alert to Reye's syndrome. Although rare, neurological symptoms can progress rapidly and be life-threatening.

5. Taboo

1. It is contraindicated for patients with active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding caused by other reasons;

2. Hemophilia or thrombocytopenia;

3. Patients with a history of allergy to aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, especially those with asthma, angioedema or shock, are prohibited from using this drug.

4. Pregnant women are prohibited from using it;

5. It is forbidden to use in children under 3 months old.
