My period is over after only two days. What's going on?

The menstrual period lasts only two days, which means that the menstrual period is relatively short. You should pay attention to it. It may be caused by some disease reasons. Of course, it may also be related to bad emotional diet, or some drugs. At this time, you should go to the hospital for examination to determine what the cause is, and then carry out symptomatic treatment and conditioning. Therefore, for women, they should also strengthen good care during the menstrual period.

My period is over after only two days. What's going on?

1. The length of the menstrual cycle depends on the length of the development and maturation period of the ovarian follicles in the woman, while the length of the luteal phase is the same, about fourteen days. If the follicular development period is long, the menstrual cycle will be long, otherwise the menstrual cycle will be short. The length of a woman's menstrual cycle varies from person to person, generally no less than 20 days and no more than 45 days. Everyone has their own pattern. Because a shorter menstrual cycle does not mean that you have a certain disease. During a woman's life, the menstrual cycle is not fixed, but may change with a variety of factors, with shorter cycles being the most common.

2. Normal cycle: Under ideal conditions, the fetus visits once every 28 or 30 days on average, but once every 21 to 35 days is also considered normal. A difference of about 5 days per month from the scheduled date is within an acceptable range. In some cases, as long as the cycle is stable, such as every 40, 41, or 42 days, it is okay. However, a cycle that is too short may cause women to suffer from anemia and physical weakness. Chinese or Western medicine can be used to prolong the cycle to address the cause of the short menstrual cycle.

There are also some medical conditions that may cause short menstrual cycles:

1. Poor ovarian reserve function: mostly occurs in women of childbearing age after 35 years old.

2. Luteal insufficiency: Due to the shortening of the relatively fixed luteal phase, the menstrual cycle becomes shorter. This disease often occurs during the reproductive age.

3. Uterine diseases such as endometrial hypoplasia, destruction of part of the endometrium due to tuberculous lesions, and multiple rough curettages that damage the endometrium.

4. Dysfunctional uterine bleeding during menopause can lead to short menstrual cycles: so ovarian dysfunction is also a cause of short menstrual cycles.

5. Endocrine dysfunction. Due to hypopituitarism, the ovaries secrete insufficient estrogen, resulting in insufficient endometrial proliferation, a thinner endometrium, and less bleeding during shedding. Some patients may also experience a shortened menstrual cycle.

How to regulate shortened menstrual period

1. Keep a happy spirit and avoid mental stimulation and mood swings. Some women experience lower abdominal distension, back pain, breast tenderness, mild diarrhea, fatigue, drowsiness, emotional instability, irritability or depression during menstruation. These are all normal and there is no need to be overly nervous, because tension and anxiety can also cause ovarian dysfunction.

2. Pay attention to hygiene and prevent infection. Pay attention to the hygiene of the external genitalia. You must not have sexual intercourse during menstruation. Keep warm and avoid cold stimulation. Avoid overwork. People with heavy menstrual bleeding should avoid eating brown sugar.

3. Underwear should be soft, made of cotton, with good ventilation and air permeability. It should be washed and changed frequently, and the changed underwear should be dried in the sun.

4. Avoid eating raw, cold, sour, spicy and other irritating foods. Drink more boiled water to keep your bowel movements smooth. People with hot blood should eat more fresh fruits and vegetables before menstruation, and avoid eating things that stimulate fire such as onions, garlic, leeks, and ginger. People with qi and blood deficiency must increase their nutrition in daily life, such as milk, eggs, soy milk, pork liver, spinach, pork, chicken, lamb, etc., and avoid eating raw and cold fruits and vegetables.

5. Please develop a habit of exercising, which can enhance physical strength, promote blood circulation, and reduce the time of taking medicine;
