Hemorrhoids and anal fissure medicine

Hemorrhoids are a disease with a very high incidence rate. Although patients will not feel much pain at first, if they are not treated in time, the long-term delay will aggravate the patient's condition and eventually cause serious consequences. Most patients often cannot distinguish between hemorrhoids and constipation, because both are the phenomenon of poor defecation. Common hemorrhoid anal fissure medicines are as follows:

1. Watermelon frost spray. The medicine is mainly composed of watermelon frost, borax (calcined), scutellaria baicalensis, coptis chinensis, phellodendron chinense, sophora flavescens, fritillaria thunbergii, belamcanda chinensis, indigo naturalis, borneol and other ingredients. It has the effects of clearing away heat and detoxifying, anti-inflammatory and analgesic. It is a commonly used medicine for the clinical treatment of throat diseases. Studies have found that using watermelon frost spray to treat anal fissures can also have antiseptic, analgesic, tissue-generating and astringent effects. When using this medicine, you can first clean the anus (especially around the wound), then mix the watermelon frost spray with an appropriate amount of honey into a paste, and apply it directly to the affected area, twice a day; you can also spray the spray directly on the anal fissure, twice a day. When using watermelon frost spray to treat anal fissure, it can usually be cured after 2 weeks of continuous use.

2. Apply nitroglycerin ointment topically. Apply 0.2% nitroglycerin ointment to the anal fissure twice a day for 4 to 6 weeks. The results showed that 20 minutes after medication, the maximum resting pressure of the anal canal dropped from 122.1±44cmh2o to 72.5cmh2o, which is equivalent to a one-time "chemical sphincterotomy". 39 cases of chronic anal fissures were treated, 33 were cured, 14 of which were cured within 4 weeks; the pain during defecation disappeared within 2 weeks; 5 cases relapsed, 4 of which were cured after re-administration of the medicine; no case of anal incontinence occurred, but 8 cases had mild pain during treatment. This method is a better non-surgical method for treating chronic anal fissure, but it still requires randomized controlled and long-term follow-up studies of large numbers of cases.

3. Chinese medicine Sihuang ointment and Coptis chinensis ointment. As well as Yu Lu ointment and Jin Huang Ru Yi ointment, etc., can be applied directly to the anal fissure. These can promote ulcer healing and thus treat anal fissures. Sitz bath with potassium permanganate solution can improve local blood circulation. Relieve anal sphincter spasms. It can reduce swelling and relieve pain, and is beneficial to the healing of anal fissure.

4. Procaine solution. If anal fissure does not heal for a long time or is painful, procaine solution can be used for sealing injection at the base of the anus. Anal fissure resection can be performed under local anesthesia. If the pain is severe, you can take painkillers orally. You can also apply benzocaine, dyclonine ointment, or dicaine ointment. You can also use suppositories such as indomethacin suppositories and chlorhexidine hemorrhoid suppositories. Insert it into the anus after defecation to reduce inflammation and relieve pain.

5. Mayinglong Musk Hemorrhoid Ointment. The medicine is mainly composed of artificial musk, artificial bezoar, pearl, amber, borax, borneol, calamine and vaseline. It has the effects of clearing away heat and detoxifying, removing dead tissue and promoting tissue regeneration. When this medicine is used to treat anal fissure, it can stop bleeding, promote wound healing and relieve pain. When using this medicine, you can first clean the anus (especially around the wound), and then apply the ointment directly to the affected area. You can apply it twice a day. Generally, it will be cured after continuous use for 1 week.
