Measuring blood pressure is a common detection method in life. For people with high blood pressure, it is also important to monitor blood pressure at any time, especially now that people's living standards have improved and blood pressure monitors are relatively cheap and can be purchased and measured at home, which is very convenient. When measuring blood pressure, you must understand some correct usage methods. Only in this way can you accurately measure the blood pressure value. How to measure blood pressure and use it correctly Before measuring blood pressure, the person being measured should sit quietly for 15 minutes and keep calm, so that the measured value will be accurate. If you want to determine whether you have high blood pressure, you should measure it at the same time period for three consecutive days. Only then will the results be of diagnostic significance. The sphygmomanometer should be placed on a horizontal surface; tilting will affect accuracy. The measuring arm should be at the same level as the sphygmomanometer and the heart. When tying the cuff, find the position of the brachial artery accurately, with the lower edge of the cuff two horizontal fingers away from the strong pulse point. The cuff should be appropriately tight so that two fingers can be inserted. When measuring blood pressure, the stethoscope's earpiece should not be inserted into the cuff, but should be exposed and placed directly on the brachial artery pulsation point. This way, the measured blood pressure value will be more accurate, otherwise it will be too high. If you don't hear clearly the first time, you can measure again after the gas in the cuff is exhausted. However, you cannot measure three or more times in a row. The person being measured must rest for a while before measuring again. After the blood pressure measurement is completed, if the sphygmomanometer has a mercury switch, it should be tilted 45° to the right to allow the mercury to flow back into the tank, then the switch should be turned off and the lid should be closed. If mercury reflux is not required, just close it directly. What is the principle of blood pressure monitor The measurement methods of blood pressure monitors are divided into direct measurement and indirect measurement. Depending on the measurement method, the principles will also be different. The measurement method of blood pressure monitor is divided into direct measurement method and indirect measurement method. The direct measurement method is to place a catheter in the blood vessel through puncture to obtain the blood pressure value. This measurement method will vary depending on the measured part and cannot fully reflect the human body's blood pressure. It can only be used to monitor blood pressure during the diagnosis and treatment of certain diseases. Indirect measurement methods are further divided into auscultatory method and oscillometric method. Auscultation is a common method for measuring blood pressure, which is to use a pressure gauge and a stethoscope to measure |
