Can I know I'm pregnant in half a month?

We all know that a woman's body will undergo many changes in the early stages of pregnancy. At this time, we can judge whether a woman is pregnant based on the changes in her body. Many women do not know when they are just pregnant. They only calculate their menstrual period and feel that their menstruation is delayed before they suspect whether they are pregnant. So, can you know if you are pregnant after half a month of pregnancy? Let me introduce it to you below!

How long it takes to detect a pregnancy depends on whether you use a urine test or a blood test. All pregnancy tests measure the level of the pregnancy hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) in your body, but the two tests differ in how and when they are done.

Early pregnancy self-test refers to a urine test that detects the amount of human chorionic gonadotropin in urine, but it can only be detected when the amount of human chorionic gonadotropin reaches a certain level. Some pregnancy self-test strips are more sensitive than others, and a more sensitive test strip may be able to detect low levels of human chorionic gonadotropin a few days before your next period.

Type B ultrasound examination: As early as the 5th week of pregnancy, which is one week after the menstrual period, a round halo in the uterus, also known as the pregnancy ring, can be shown on the Type B ultrasound screen. The dark area inside the ring is amniotic fluid, in which a rhythmic fetal heartbeat can also be seen. Using B-ultrasound to diagnose early pregnancy is the most accurate and reliable method.

Basal body temperature measurement: Some women measure their body temperature every morning after waking up for contraception or to get pregnant due to infertility. The temperature at this time is called basal body temperature. Generally, the body temperature before ovulation is below 36.5 degrees. After ovulation, the body temperature rises by 0.3-0.5 degrees and lasts for 12-16 days, with an average of 14 days. If the high temperature curve of basal body temperature lasts for more than 18 days, pregnancy can be diagnosed.

What are the symptoms of early pregnancy

Early pregnancy symptom 1 - easy fatigue

In the early stages of pregnancy, many women feel tired, lack energy, and want to sleep. But this period will not last too long and will pass quickly. Generally speaking, women who have had enough sex life but still do not have their period one week after the menstrual cycle should go to the hospital to check their urine to see if they are pregnant.

Early pregnancy symptom 2 – Appetite changes

Some women begin to experience a change in appetite shortly after their menstrual period (1-2 weeks). The things that I usually like to eat, I don’t like to eat them anymore. I won’t like the food I’ve eaten once the second time. Some people simply don’t want to eat or even feel like vomiting, and some people crave something sour. Generally, after half a month to a month, these symptoms will disappear naturally.

Early pregnancy symptom 3 - Breast changes

After pregnancy, under the joint stimulation of estrogen and progesterone, at the beginning of pregnancy, the breasts gradually grow larger, the color of the nipples and areola deepens, and dark brown nodules appear around the nipples. After 12 weeks, a small amount of clear milk will be secreted.

Early pregnancy symptom 4 – Menstruation stops

This is the most common sign of pregnancy that most people notice. As long as a woman is of childbearing age and has normal menstruation, she may be pregnant if she has sexual intercourse for more than two weeks after the normal menstrual period. But not having your period does not necessarily mean you are pregnant. There are many reasons why your period may not come, such as poor ovarian function, abnormal hormone secretion, busy work, exam stress, etc., all of which can cause your period to be late. Therefore, it is best to get a doctor's diagnosis, which is the safest.
