4. Gynecological examination. Focus on checking the size, texture, shape, thickness of the cervical canal, and whether there is contact bleeding.

How much does a cervical smear cost

The price of cervical smear is relatively affordable, but it is a relatively basic examination and cannot detect all problems at once, so there will be follow-up examinations. When talking about cervical smear test, we have to mention TCT test. In fact, TCT test is a new method launched on the basis of cervical smear test. The accuracy of this test is much higher, but the price is relatively expensive, usually around 150 yuan.

It is recommended that if you want to check your cervical smear, you should go to a regular large hospital to avoid random charges. However, the charges may vary from hospital to hospital. If it is relatively expensive, you should use your medical insurance and save as much as you can.

Between cervical smear and TCT testing, the advantages of TCT are actually not very obvious. But if the test results are benign, then there is no need to continue with the subsequent examinations. How to read the results of cervical smear

1. Pap test grade I. The test results were normal, with no abnormal cells in the normal smear.

2. Pap test grade II. This test result showed inflammation, and the cells in the inflammatory smear had abnormal changes.

3. Pap test grade III. This result is not good. The examination results show suspected nuclear metamorphosis of cancer cells, but it is not certain and further examination is needed.

4. Papanicolaou grade IV. At this level, there may be malignant cells.

5. Pap test grade V. This level indicates the presence of cancer cells.

Even if there is no problem after the examination, the situation will change, so you should have regular examinations, especially if the result of the Pap smear is level II or above. You should pay attention to your diet, keep your vagina dry and clean, and wear condoms during sexual intercourse.
