Can I use moxibustion to treat heat stroke?

In summer, especially when the temperature reaches around 40 degrees, heat stroke is very common. After heat stroke, the patient will not only feel dizzy and have a swollen head, but also vomit. Therefore, in summer, we must take measures from all aspects to avoid heatstroke. The main thing is to drink plenty of water to replenish the body with plenty of water. So, after suffering from heat stroke, can moxibustion be used for treatment?

able.

From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, heatstroke is the result of a depletion of vital energy, which can even lead to the obstruction of the clear orifices, causing the qi in the meridians to become blocked and causing coma and convulsions. If the body's energy is dissipated too much, it will lead to collapse and death. Moxibustion therapy can replenish the primordial yang energy, eliminate cold and dampness, and remove internal heat. After the pure yang energy of moxibustion enters the human body, the evil spirits such as wind, cold, dampness, heat, dryness, etc. are driven out of the body by the double yang of heaven and earth, allowing the body to relax and thus effectively alleviating the symptoms of heatstroke.
