If there are many red spots on the back of your hand with some blood around them, it is very likely that you have hemangioma. Hemangiomas do not cause any noticeable discomfort, come in many types, and can appear in many places on the body. We need to understand the symptoms of hemangioma, and then make a comprehensive judgment based on our own situation, so that we can determine what is going on. Now let's look at hemangiomas. Clinical manifestations of hemangioma 1. Capillary hemangioma Tumors are composed of large numbers of intertwined, dilated capillaries. It appears as bright red or purple patches. It is flush with the skin surface or slightly raised, with clear boundaries, irregular shapes and varying sizes. When the tumor is pressed with the fingers, the color fades; when the pressure is released, the color returns. 2. Cavernous hemangioma tumors are composed of enlarged vascular lumens and blood sinusoids lined with endothelial cells. The lesions are purple, dark red or bluish-red nodules or plaques of varying sizes. They are soft in texture, and the blood sinuses are of different sizes, like a sponge-like structure. The sinus cavities are filled with venous blood and communicate with each other. The surface is hemispherical or lobed, and its volume can be reduced by compression. Mostly single shot. Histopathology showed that the blood vessels in the lower dermis and subcutaneous tissue were enlarged into irregular cavities filled with blood. Hyperplasia of vascular adventitial cells. It presents as an asymptomatic, slow-growing soft mass. When the head is in a low position, the tumor expands due to congestion; when the body returns to normal position, the mass returns to its original shape. Superficial tumors have a bluish-purple appearance on the skin or mucous membrane. For deeper ones, the skin color is normal. The mass was soft, with unclear borders and no tenderness when palpated. The lump shrinks when squeezed and returns to its original size when the pressure is released. 3. Racemose hemangioma It is mainly formed by the anastomosis of dilated arteries and veins. The tumor is elevated and has a bead-like or earthworm-like shape. There is a pulsation and thrill on palpation, and a blowing murmur on auscultation. If all the blood supplying arteries are compressed and blocked, the above-mentioned pulsation and murmur will disappear. treat Currently, the commonly used methods for treating hemangiomas include drug therapy, laser therapy and surgical treatment, and there is no one method that can treat all types of hemangiomas. It should be determined based on factors such as the type, location, depth of the tumor and the age of the patient. Commonly used methods include: surgical resection, radiotherapy, cryosurgery, sclerosing agent injection and laser irradiation. The principles of treatment are: ①Prevent or treat related complications that seriously endanger life or function; ②Prevent deformities or facial defects caused by hemangioma regression; ③Prevent ulcers and infections, and for patients who already have ulcers, promote ulcer healing, reduce scar formation, and relieve pain; ④Relieve the psychological pressure of children and their families; ⑤Avoid overtreatment of lesions that can resolve on their own and have a good prognosis. |
