What is the best way to wash your vagina?

What is the best way to wash your vagina?

Compared with men, women have to do much more tedious cleaning and maintenance work every night. Apart from the time for bathing and washing hair, the basic daily steps include washing face, soaking feet, cleaning genitals, and applying various skin care products, and no step can be missed. When it comes to cleaning the vagina, some people think that they can use some soap and shower gel just like taking a bath, but we do not recommend using these, because these things are not non-irritating and will irritate the vaginal mucosa, so the best choice for cleaning the vagina is warm boiled water.

1. Don’t use gynecological wash easily

When it comes to private part cleaning, many people use some private part cleaning products on the market at will, but this is actually wrong. For healthy people, gynecological wash should not be used casually. Gynecological washes contain bactericidal ingredients. If used by healthy people, they are likely to destroy the normal flora of the private parts, affect the acid-base balance of the vagina, and damage the perineal skin. Therefore, it is best to use gynecological washes under the guidance of a doctor, and healthy people should avoid frequent use of gynecological washes.

2. Ordinary shower gel and soap

Can’t use private cleaning products at will? So what about shower gel and soap? The answer is also no. Ordinary shower gels and soaps are not suitable for cleaning private parts. Shower gels and soaps are mostly alkaline, while the private parts are slightly acidic. Long-term use of shower gels or soaps for cleaning can easily destroy the acid-base environment of the private parts, and will also have an adverse effect on the self-cleaning function of the private parts, making it more susceptible to gynecological diseases.

3. Cleaning with clean water is recommended

For female friends who do not have gynecological symptoms, the best solution for cleaning private parts is clean water. You can wash the skin of the vulva with warm water when taking a bath every day, but be careful not to rinse the inside of the vagina.

How to clean female private parts

(1) Frequency of cleaning: Normally once a day is sufficient. If you sweat a lot or are menstruating, you can increase the frequency of cleaning appropriately.

( 2 ) Cleaning method: It is best to take a shower and rinse with warm water. If there is no shower, you can use a basin instead, but it must be used for a specific purpose.

( 3) Cleaning order: Wash your hands first, then clean the vulva from front to back, then wash the labia majora and minora, and finally wash the area around the anus and the anus.
