What Chinese medicine should I take for insufficient stomach qi?

Insufficient stomach qi falls into the category of diseases in traditional Chinese medicine. Many people have stomach problems. People with poor stomachs will be affected no matter what they do. Preparation method

Grind the above eight ingredients into fine powder, sieve and mix well. Take another 20g of ginger and 40g of jujube, add water and boil twice, filter, and concentrate the filtrate. For every 100g of powder, add 100-120g of refined honey and concentrated decoction of ginger and jujube to make small honey pills; or add 100-120g of refined honey to every 100g of powder to make large honey pills.

Abdominal distension: choose Xiangsha Hewei Pills

For most patients with spleen and stomach disharmony, loss of appetite, abdominal distension and pain, irregular bowel movements caused by weak spleen and stomach and indigestion can be treated with Xiangsha Hewei Pills. This prescription is based on Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction, combined with traditional Chinese medicines for regulating qi, promoting digestion, and removing dampness. It is effective in strengthening the spleen and appetite, promoting qi circulation and removing stagnation, and has a wide range of applications. However, this medicine is not suitable for patients with obvious symptoms of excess heat such as bad breath, nausea, constipation, red tongue with yellow coating, and patients with yin deficiency such as dry mouth, red tongue with little fluid, and dry stool.

Cold stomach - choose Wenweishu

If the patient has stomach discomfort that is relieved by kneading or keeping warm, or if he or she suffers from fatigue, or cold hands and feet, Wenweishu can be used. As the name suggests, it has the effect of warming the stomach and the middle, and is suitable for people with cold stomach, who have eaten raw or cold food, or who suffer from cold and feel more pain. Medicines of this type include Cold Stomach Pain Granules, Weiqi Pain Relief Pills, and Fuzi Lizhong Pills. However, it is not applicable if the tongue is red, with yellow or greasy coating, or other symptoms of damp-heat, as well as acute stomach pain.

Stomachache - choose Niuhuang Qingwei Pills

Stomach pain accompanied by increased gastric acid, thirst, preference for cold drinks, dry stool, yellow urine and other symptoms of stomach heat can be treated by purging fire and clearing the stomach. Niuhuang Qingwei Pills can be used. However, this medicine should not be used excessively or for a long time. Large amounts of use can easily damage the yang energy of the spleen and stomach, causing physical weakness. If there is no significant improvement after taking it, you should go to the hospital for specialist diagnosis and treatment.

Stomach heat and abdominal pain - choose Yangweishu

People with stomach-heat type spleen and stomach diseases have a long history. The general characteristics include dull and burning pain in the upper abdomen, dry mouth and throat, thirst not quenched by drinking water, hot hands and feet, weight loss and fatigue, and a red tongue with little coating. Yangweishu can be used for treatment, which can strengthen the body, nourish yin and the stomach, regulate the middle burner, and promote qi and digestion.
