What causes bad placenta?

What causes bad placenta?

If the placenta is not good, it will also affect the development of the fetus. This is something that all mothers should understand. There are several reasons why your placenta may be bad in the past, such as premature pregnancy, maternal disease history, uterine factors, etc. It is recommended that friends check it out in time and follow the doctor's treatment advice.

What causes bad placenta?

First, overdue pregnancy: Overdue pregnancy is a common factor leading to poor placental function. If the expected date of delivery exceeds about two weeks, the blood flow in the placenta will decrease, and it will gradually age and degenerate, resulting in decreased function. In this state, the placenta cannot supply enough nutrition to the fetus, which may cause dangerous conditions such as fetal intrauterine distress.

Second, maternal medical history: When the expectant mother suffers from chronic nephritis, hypertension, or diabetes, it will cause hardening and spasm of the small arteries in the body, thereby affecting the placental function to varying degrees and causing insufficient blood supply to the placenta. Secondly, if a pregnant woman suffers from severe anemia or protein deficiency, heart and lung disease, fever, etc., or uses certain medications or smokes too much, the oxygen content in the blood circulation system will decrease, and the nutrients supplied to the placenta will also decrease accordingly, thus causing placental insufficiency.

Third, uterine factors: If the expectant mother sleeps in a supine position for a long time, has a uterine deformity, uterine fibroids, etc., the blood supply to the uterus will be affected, causing poor placental function.

Fourth, placental factors: It is clinically concluded that placenta previa, early placental abruption, small placenta, or vascular infarction (fibrous deposition), vasculitis, umbilical cord complications, etc. during pregnancy can all lead to poor placental function.

Fifth, fetal factors: If the pregnancy is a multiple pregnancy or the fetus has heart disease, it can also cause poor placental function.

What to do with the placenta

First, make it into a souvenir or plaster. A more acceptable way is to process the placenta into something that evokes memories, in the form of a powder, paste or oil, and put it in a special bottle.

Part of the processed placenta can be preserved and part can be used. If it is a Caesarean section, apply it after the wound heals to reduce scars. It can also be used on any healed scars to reduce scars. Adding it to lotion is better than any high-end cosmetics. Adding it to broth, especially in the few days after delivery, is an excellent tonic.

Second, make it into a work of art. Processed into works of art for permanent preservation. There are countless blood vessels and capillaries on the placenta, which look like a lush tree when copied on paper, with a main trunk, branches, and twigs densely packed together. The mother's nutrients are carried by the blood and supplied to the baby through these densely packed life supply lines. There are special artists who provide this service. After the placenta is delivered, it is traced on special paper and the imprint is then developed into a painting.

In fact, the treatment of the placenta is not particularly difficult. The placenta can also be treated in this way, for example, by asking the hospital to help deal with it, burying it under a tree, and preparing it into the traditional Chinese medicine "Zihe". In fact, the placenta is very important in our daily life. It is recommended that friends can read relevant information and learn about the placenta in their spare time.
