Insufficient blood flow to the heart

Insufficient blood flow to the heart

Insufficient blood supply to the heart is a very serious heart disease and should attract everyone's high attention. If the heart is not supplied with enough blood, it will lead to myocardial hypoxia and weaken heart function. It is the number one enemy that can endanger human health. In severe cases, it may also cause coronary heart disease and other heart diseases, so everyone should pay special attention to protecting their hearts.

The main symptom of insufficient blood supply to the heart is myocardial ischemia. This disease often has no obvious signs in the early stages, but will gradually manifest as shortness of breath. For example, the heart rate will increase, and you will feel panic and shortness of breath after exercise. This is greatly reduced compared to your original amount of exercise. After a long time, it will cause weakening of heart function and make the body feel very tired and powerless. At this time, you should check whether the heart is not getting enough blood. Here we will introduce what you should pay attention to if the heart is not getting enough blood.

Precautions

1. Control calories and maintain ideal weight.

2. Control the quality and quantity of fat intake. Many studies have shown that long-term consumption of large amounts of fat is the main factor causing arteriosclerosis in animals. It has also been proven that the quality of fat has a greater impact on blood lipids. Saturated fatty acids can increase blood cholesterol, while polyunsaturated fatty acids can lower blood cholesterol. It is generally believed that the ratio of polyunsaturated fatty acids, saturated fatty acids, and monounsaturated fatty acids (p:s:m) in the diet should be 1:1:1. Dietary cholesterol content will have a certain impact on lipid metabolism in the body and should be appropriately controlled.

3. Control sugar intake. Carbohydrates are the main source of heat energy for the body. Excessive intake of carbohydrates (in the dietary structure of the Chinese people, this means excessive intake of staple foods) can cause excess calorie intake, which can also be converted into fat in the body, causing obesity and increased blood lipids. Studies have shown that among carbohydrates, fructose is more effective in raising blood lipids than sucrose, and sucrose is more effective than starch. In the United States, Canada and other countries, people's sugar intake can account for 15-20% of their daily energy, and their incidence of coronary heart disease is much higher than in other countries and regions. Therefore, the total amount of carbohydrate intake should be strictly controlled, especially the sugar intake, which should generally not exceed 10% of the total calories.

4. Appropriately increase dietary fiber intake. Dietary fiber can absorb cholesterol and prevent it from being absorbed by the human body. It can also promote the excretion of bile acid from the feces and reduce the production of cholesterol in the body, thus lowering blood cholesterol. Therefore, the diet for preventing and treating coronary heart disease should contain sufficient dietary fiber.

5. Provide rich vitamins. Vitamin C can promote the production of bile acid from cholesterol, thereby lowering blood cholesterol; it can also improve coronary circulation and protect blood vessel walls. Niacin can dilate peripheral blood vessels and prevent thrombosis; it can also lower the level of triglycerides in the blood. Vitamin E has an antioxidant effect, which can prevent the peroxidation of unsaturated fatty acids, protect the myocardium, improve myocardial hypoxia, and prevent the occurrence of thrombosis.

6. Ensure the supply of necessary inorganic salts and trace elements. Iodine can inhibit the absorption of cholesterol by the intestines and reduce the deposition of cholesterol on the blood vessel walls, so it can slow down or prevent the development of atherosclerosis. Regular consumption of iodine-rich seafood such as kelp and seaweed can reduce the incidence of coronary heart disease. Calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, copper, chromium, etc. in the diet are also related to the incidence of coronary heart disease.

7. Eat small meals frequently, avoid overeating, and do not eat too much at dinner, otherwise it may easily induce acute myocardial infarction.

8. Do not drink strong alcohol. Alcohol can increase the heart rate and aggravate myocardial hypoxia, so it should be avoided.

Everyone has a good understanding of the precautions for insufficient blood supply to the heart. Especially older friends should pay attention to all aspects in daily life, especially not smoking and drinking excessively. Only by having good living habits can the heart be healthier.
