Aspartate aminotransferase mainly includes alanine aminotransferase and some aspartate aminotransferase. At the same time, it mainly reflects some indicators of liver function, which are also relatively common in daily life. High levels mainly indicate abnormal liver function but not necessarily hepatitis. The main signs of proper supervision are fatigue and common symptoms of fatty liver. In life, alanine aminotransferase mainly has some normal values ​​that are higher than the normal values.

In the liver function test, the transaminase level is on the high side, but the high aspartate aminotransferase and the high auxiliary transaminase will have some impact on liver function. Therefore, in daily life, such diseases may be caused by excessive drinking, lack of sleep and staying up all night.

Normal alanine aminotransferase is 0-40μ/L, and normal aspartate aminotransferase is 0-37μ/L, so the normal aspartate to alanine aminotransferase ratio is between 0.8-1.5. First of all, it should be pointed out that since the aspartate-to-alanine ratio is high, it means that the transaminase is high in the liver function test results, but the magnitude of the high aspartate aminotransferase is greater than that of the alanine aminotransferase. So what does the high aspartate-to-alanine ratio mean?

1) A high aspartate to aspartate ratio indicates liver cell damage. Since alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase are tests that reflect liver cell damage, when cells are damaged, ALT will enter the blood first, and when cells are severely damaged, AST will also enter the blood, which will cause changes in the aspartate aminotransferase to alanine aminotransferase ratio and may make the aspartate aminotransferase to alanine aminotransferase ratio higher.

2) A high aspartate-to-aspartate ratio indicates that the patient may have excessive drinking, fatigue, lack of sleep, sleepless nights, unhygienic diet, food poisoning, etc. In addition, drinking antibiotic drugs, such as cold medicines, anti-inflammatory drugs, etc., can also cause the aspartate-to-alanine ratio to be high.

The above is the phenomenon of high aspartate and aspartate amino acids, which will have some effects on liver function. Therefore, in daily life, it may be due to excessive drinking, lack of sleep, and sleepless nights. The high level mainly indicates abnormal liver function but not necessarily hepatitis. Some dietary hygiene issues can also lead to this kind of high level, so timely treatment and diagnosis must be carried out in daily life.
