White spots on toenails

White spots on toenails

Toenails are mainly a unique protection for the toes. They are lifeless and composed of a common keratin. In daily life, they are mainly to protect the toes. They are mainly secreted by a large number of blood vessels under the toes. If the toenails fade out of pink, it is mainly because there is no disease. In daily life, many people are more concerned about white spots on toenails.

It is very likely that the toenails have become thicker and are caused by onychomycosis. However, this is not an absolute symptom of onychomycosis, so it may be caused by other diseases in daily life. If there are some white spots on the toenails, you must seek treatment in time.

1. The nails of healthy people are pink. Observe all ten fingernails in the sunlight, moving your fingers up and down. If there is a shining reflection on the surface of the nails, it shows that your overall health is in excellent condition and the functions of all organs in the body are intact and normal.

2. If brown vertical lines or cracks appear on the surface of the nails, extending from the fingertips to the base of the nails, it indicates intestinal inflammation or indicates vitamin deficiency and iron deficiency. Whitening of the nails indicates zinc deficiency. General paleness indicates anemia. The appearance of brown and yellow stripes on the nails is a sign of liver disease. However, it is worth noting that this brown-yellow stripe must appear on all ten fingernails at the same time to be considered a liver disease; its appearance alone cannot be used as a basis for diagnosis.

3. If there are many small pin-like pits on the nails, it is mostly a manifestation of late-stage psoriasis.

4. If your fingers are swollen and there are purple halos on the nails, it is likely to be a lung disease. Thinning, brittle, or even cracking nails indicate diseases of the respiratory and circulatory systems.

The above is that if there are white spots on toenails, you should go to the local hospital or some other dermatology department for further examination or culture. If the toenails fade from pink, it mainly means that there is no lesion. In daily life, many people are more concerned about the white spots on toenails, so you must pay attention to nail inflammation in daily life.
