There are several types of birth control rings

Everyone should have noticed that due to the widespread use of the Internet and television, as well as the advancement of reform and opening up, people's minds are becoming more and more open, which has led to an increase in the abortion rate in hospitals. In fact, regarding the increase in the number of abortions, in addition to people's open minds, the most critical factor is the lack of protective measures. In addition to these, some married women sometimes get pregnant accidentally.

To control pregnancy, people often use condoms and oral contraceptives. However, oral contraceptives are harmful to women's bodies, and long-term use may cause infertility in the future. This is when an IUD is needed. When it comes to IUDs, many people may not understand them. Now let’s introduce the types of IUDs.

The IUD is a safe, simple and popular contraceptive method among women. 40% of women in my country use intrauterine devices. However, to date, it can be said that no contraceptive measure has reached perfection. Intrauterine devices are no exception. They are indeed safer and more effective, but they can also fail. It may also cause bleeding, back pain, abdominal distension, infection, and even displacement, also known as IUD pregnancy or pregnancy with an IUD.

There are several common types of IUDs:

Intrauterine devices that release hemostatic drugs: can effectively control the increase in menstrual volume after intrauterine device placement.

Progestin-releasing intrauterine device: The progestin contained in the intrauterine device is slowly and steadily released into the uterine cavity, which improves the contraceptive effect and can significantly reduce bleeding.

Copper intrauterine device: It is the most widely used type of active intrauterine device, which uses the killing effect of copper on sperm or fertilized eggs to enhance the contraceptive effect.

Inert intrauterine contraceptive device: made of stainless steel wire or plastic, silicone, such as metal single ring, twisted ring and stainless steel uterine ring.

For most of us women, in order not to affect the normal sexual life between couples after giving birth, we can consider inserting an IUD, because this will reduce a lot of worries about pregnancy. Of course, it doesn’t mean that you will never get pregnant if you have an IUD in place. There are exceptions, but they are quite rare, so the IUD is still very effective.
