Growth hormone cell adenoma: The early tumor is only a few millimeters in size and its main symptom is excessive secretion of growth hormone. Minor patients may grow rapidly and even develop into giants. In adulthood, it manifests as acromegaly. Such as facial changes, larger forehead, protruding jaw, large nose and thick lips, thicker fingers, tight shoes and hats, several changes to larger sizes, and even having to have special productions. Some patients also have increased appetite, rough hair and skin, pigmentation, numbness of fingers, etc. In severe cases, patients may feel general fatigue, headache, joint pain, sexual dysfunction, amenorrhea and infertility, and even develop diabetes.

Prolactin cell adenoma: The main manifestations are amenorrhea, galactorrhea, infertility, and in severe cases, loss of axillary hair, pale and delicate skin, increased subcutaneous fat, as well as fatigue, tiredness, drowsiness, headache, and sexual dysfunction. In men, symptoms include decreased libido, impotence, breast hyperplasia, sparse beard, and in severe cases, atrophy of reproductive organs, decreased sperm count, infertility, etc. There are not many cases of male to female changes. Adrenocorticotropic hormone cell adenoma: Clinical manifestations include centripetal obesity, moon face, buffalo hump, sanguineous constitution, purple striae on the skin of the abdomen and thighs, and increased vellus hair. In severe cases, patients may suffer from amenorrhea, loss of libido, general fatigue, and even be bedridden. Some patients also have hypertension, diabetes, etc.

In fact, the symptoms that lead to pituitary cysts are not just the conditions mentioned above. After a pituitary cyst occurs, endocrine inactive adenoma is also one of the symptoms of the disease. In the early stages of the disease, patients do not actually feel anything special, but the tumor grows, which can compress the pituitary gland and cause clinical manifestations of pituitary insufficiency.
