Causes of cervical bone hyperplasia

Causes of cervical bone hyperplasia

There are many reasons for cervical bone hyperplasia, and they are generally caused by one's own behavioral habits or diet. Cervical spondylosis is a common disease in the human body, and the incidence of this disease is also quite high. Moreover, cervical spondylosis generally occurs most frequently in middle-aged and elderly patients, but people of other age groups can also suffer from cervical spondylosis. Many people may not know much about cervical spondylosis. In fact, to put it bluntly, cervical spondylosis is a type of cervical spondylosis.

There are still many bone diseases in our human body, and of course there are many causes of these diseases. But for most people, they don’t actually understand this aspect. However, if you know the cause of cervical spondylosis, it will also be helpful for the treatment of cervical spondylosis. So, let’s introduce the causes of cervical spondylosis in detail.

Cervical spondylosis, also known as cervical spondylosis, is a general term for cervical osteoarthritis, hypertrophic cervical spondylitis, cervical radiculitis, and cervical disc herniation. It is a disease based on degenerative pathological changes. It is mainly caused by long-term strain of the cervical spine, bone hyperplasia, or herniated disc, ligament thickening, which leads to compression of the cervical spinal cord, nerve roots or vertebral arteries, resulting in a series of clinical syndromes of functional disorders. It manifests as a series of pathological changes in cervical disc degeneration itself and its secondary changes, such as vertebral instability and loosening; nucleus pulposus protrusion or extrusion; bone spur formation; ligament hypertrophy and secondary spinal canal stenosis, etc., which stimulate or compress adjacent nerve roots, spinal cord, vertebral arteries and cervical sympathetic nerves and other tissues, causing a series of symptoms and signs.

What are the factors of cervical spondylosis?

1. Degenerative changes of the cervical spine: As people age, the cervical spine and intervertebral discs undergo different changes. While the disease causes degenerative changes in the cervical vertebrae, the intervertebral discs also change accordingly.

2. Neck trauma: People often do not pay attention to trauma. The cervical spinal canal is often in a critical state of stenosis due to cervical bone hyperplasia, cervical disc herniation, soft tissue lesions in the spinal canal, etc., and neck trauma induces the occurrence of symptoms.

3. Bad posture: Bad posture is a major factor causing disease. People who keep their head and neck in a single posture for a long time, who like to lie in bed watching TV, reading, using high pillows, or sleeping in a sitting position, are prone to cervical bone hyperplasia.

4. Wind, cold and dampness: Affected by the external environment, wind, cold and dampness can reduce the body's tolerance to pain, causing muscle spasms, small blood vessel contraction, soft tissue blood circulation disorders, and subsequent aseptic inflammation.

5. Hypoplasia of cervical vertebra structure: Cervical vertebra structure such as congenital small spinal canal and cervical vertebra degeneration are some of the factors that induce cervical vertebra diseases.

Through the above introduction, most of us should understand the causes of cervical spondylosis. After understanding the causes of cervical spondylosis, this is actually beneficial to the patients themselves. Our patients with cervical spondylosis can now use these causes of cervical spondylosis to understand the cause of their illness, so that their cervical spondylosis can be cured as soon as possible.
