In Chinese history, Chinese medicine is an indispensable part of people's lives. For a long time before Western medicine entered China, Chinese medicine shouldered the heavy burden of curing diseases and saving lives, and lived up to expectations and did a very good job. Herbs are very important in Chinese medicine. For Chinese people, they all know some medicinal herbs to some extent. This is the result of people taking the initiative to understand these medicinal herbs for their own or their family's health. Although people think they have a good understanding of Chinese medicine, sometimes, when some very similar names and appearances appear, it becomes difficult for people to distinguish them, and they may even confuse them. Just like Chuanbei and Chuanbeimu, does anyone know the difference between them? First of all, the full name of Chuanbei is Chuanbeimu, which is named because it is mainly produced in Sichuan. So Chuanbei is Chuanbeimu. This is the same. Commercial Chuanbei is divided into Songbei, Qingbei and Lubei. Songbei is divided into two grades, Qingbei is divided into four grades, and Lubei is divided into two grades. Fritillaria cirrhosa is a multi-source medicinal material, which comes from the Liliaceae plants Fritillaria cirrhosa, Fritillaria gansuensis, Fritillaria thunbergii and Fritillaria purpurogenum. The total alkaloids and non-alkaloids of Fritillaria cirrhosa have antitussive effects. Platycodon grandiflorum saponins can stimulate the gastric mucosa in small doses, causing mild nausea and vomiting, thereby reflexively increasing bronchial secretions and achieving the purpose of expectoration. Fritillaria cirrhosa has an antitussive effect. The antitussive effect increases with increasing dosage. However, although Chuanbei and Fritillaria look similar, there are actually differences between the two. Chuanbei is a local medicinal material, mainly produced in Sichuan, with significant effects, while Fritillaria includes two types of Fritillaria, Chuanbei and Zhejiang Fritillaria. Zhejiang Fritillaria is produced in Xiangshan, Zhejiang Province, also known as Xiang Fritillaria, but its effect is much worse than Chuanbei. Currently, most Fritillaria in pharmacies are Zhejiang Fritillaria. Therefore, Fritillaria and Chuanbei are not the same, and Fritillaria includes Chuanbei. Through the above understanding, people must have a better understanding of the relationship between Chuanbei and Chuanbeimu. In fact, in life, people will encounter many such examples, and at this time people are required to have enough knowledge to distinguish them. And when people don't know, they must know how to find the accurate answer in time, instead of blindly and vaguely defining them at will. |
