What to do if eczema is severe

Eczema is actually a skin problem. In life, the reasons for eczema in different people are different. For example, different physical constitutions can cause eczema. Changes in the environment can also cause this phenomenon. Therefore, we must pay more attention to these issues. What should we do if the eczema is more serious? How to solve it scientifically and effectively?

No matter what factors cause eczema, it will seriously affect our physical health, life and work. Therefore, when facing this problem, it is recommended that everyone should not ignore it easily. Only by actively receiving treatment can the damage be reduced.

Treatment is:

1. Home medication

(1) Take 0.2 g of vitamin C orally 3 times a day. Vitamin B6 10-20 mg orally 3 times a day

(2) Anti-allergic drugs commonly used are chlorpheniramine 0.3 mg or cyproheptadine 2 mg, taken orally twice a day. You can also take 10 mg of Astemizole orally once a day.

(3) In the acute stage, for patients with extensive rash, 10% calcium gluconate 10 ml should be injected intravenously once a day or prednisone 10 mg should be taken orally 3 times a day. The dosage should be gradually reduced until the drug is stopped after the symptoms improve.

(4) If secondary infection occurs, give erythromycin 0.3 g orally 3 times a day.

(5) In the acute phase, apply 3% boric acid solution for 15-20 minutes each time, 3-4 times a day. After the exudate decreases, apply zinc oxide oil or zinc borate paste externally. If infection occurs, apply 0.1% revoxanol solution for wet compresses and erythromycin ointment externally.

(6) In the subacute stage, boron zinc paste or 2-5% black bean distilled oil ointment is commonly used. You can also use Fuqingsong dimethyl sulfoxide solution for external application, or Fujining ointment for external application.

2. Chinese medicine and folk prescriptions

(1) Add 15g each of Sophora flavescens and Alum and 9g of Phellodendron amurense to 500-1000ml of water, boil and wash the affected area with warm water 3-4 times a day. For acute eczema

(2) Take appropriate amounts of hibiscus bark, purslane, and white ringworm peel, decoct them into a soup and wash the affected area 2-3 times a day. Suitable for people with eczema and itching.

(3) Grind 20g each of alum and calcined gypsum, 7g of realgar, and 1g of borneol into powder, add 200g of vaseline, mix well and apply externally. It is suitable for chronic eczema.

As long as we understand some of the causes of its occurrence and use some methods to scientifically treat it, we can reduce these adverse effects and ensure our own health.
