How to remove facial scars

How to remove facial scars

In fact, it’s okay if the scars grow on other inconspicuous parts of the body, but if the scars grow on the face, people will try every means to remove them. There are always some accidents in life. For example, a car accident can easily leave scars on a person's face. The presence of facial scars will seriously affect a person's facial appearance, so what method should be chosen to remove facial scars?

In fact, there are many ways to remove facial scars, but some traditional freckle removal methods are not particularly effective and are prone to side effects. Therefore, surgery is the best choice for improvement. The following methods are very good and worth a try.

1. Scar excision and suture . It is a commonly used surgical method in scar treatment and can be used for scars of smaller area.

2. Scar release and local reshaping surgery. For smaller, tense cord-like or webbed scars, the scar can be removed and the surrounding normal skin tissue can be used to form a flap, which can then be cross-transposed to repair the skin defect at the scar site.

3. Scar excision and free skin grafting. Larger hypertrophic scars can be surgically removed, and then free skin grafts can be cut from normal parts of the body and transplanted to the scar surface to repair the wound and restore skin function.

Rehabilitation and Nursing:

1. Antibiotics need to be taken after treatment. Generally, patients only need to take them for three days, but if the wound is large, the medication time will need to be longer.

2. Let the scar fall off on its own, do not remove it forcibly, and avoid exposure to sunlight and stimulation from wind and sand after the scar falls off.

3. Pay attention to sun protection and UV protection within three months after surgery, and it is best to put on makeup before going out
