In traditional Chinese medicine, the ear is the reaction organ of the kidney, and many kidney acupoints are located in the ear! Therefore, regularly massaging the ears can help maintain kidney health.

Therefore, Chinese medicine believes that plump earlobes are a sign of kidney health! But in addition to the kidneys, the ears are also closely related to many organs and meridians throughout the body!

The health of the ears can reflect the health of the internal organs of the human body

Many organs in the human body can find corresponding stimulation points in the ears. When a minor fault occurs in an organ inside the human body, the corresponding acupoints in the ear will also change. So we can stimulate some acupoints on the ear to determine where the problem is inside the human body.

Many experienced doctors often use subtle changes in the ears to help diagnose diseases. Therefore, we can maintain our health by massaging the entire ear.

Here are some specific ways to massage your ears:

1. Sweep the outer ear

Sweep the ears from back to front, about twenty times each time, several times a day.

2. Pull out both ears

Stretch out both index fingers and insert them into the two ear holes respectively. Rotate 180 degrees. Repeat 3 times and then immediately remove them. You will hear a "popping" sound in the ears. Generally, this should be repeated 3-6 times. This method can make your hearing more sensitive and has the effect of strengthening your brain.

3. Lift the ear tip

Use your left hand to reach around the top of your head, and use your thumb and index finger to pinch the upper part of your ear, kneading this area first. Then pull upwards until the area becomes congested and hot, 15-20 times each time; similarly, use your right hand to reach around the top of your head, and pinch the upper part of the ear with your thumb and index finger, kneading this area first. Then pull upwards until the area becomes congested and hot, 15-20 times each time. The acupoints here include Shenmen, pelvis, internal and external genitalia, feet, ankles, knees, hip joints, as well as Ganyang and Fengxi points.

4. Pull the earlobe

Use the thumb and index finger of both hands to massage the earlobes at the same time. First, knead and warm the earlobes, and then pull the earlobes down 15-20 times to make them hot. The acupoints on the earlobe include head, forehead, eye, tongue, tooth, and cheek points.

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that kidney qi is an important condition for prolonging life. The ears are the external manifestation of the "kidneys". "Those with strong ears have strong kidneys, while those with thin and weak ears have weak kidneys". The auricle is relatively long. The kidney stores essence and opens up to the ear. There are many acupuncture points for treating kidney diseases in the ear. Therefore, regular massage can help strengthen the kidneys and nourish the body.

5. Push behind the ears

Place the middle fingers of both hands behind the ears, and rub back and forth along the Yifeng, Jimai, back of the auricle, and up and down the Luxi for 20-30 times each until the local skin becomes warm. It has the effect of nourishing the kidneys and liver and lowering blood pressure.

Although the ears are small, they represent the health of many internal organs!
