AIDS is extremely harmful and can even be life-threatening, so active prevention is the key. According to experts, specific prevention, comprehensive prevention, and complication prevention are all good measures, and everyone can start from these aspects. 1. Specific prevention (I) With the 1993 classification and diagnostic criteria of the US CDC, the scope of diagnosis of AIDS has been expanded, which is conducive to the prevention and treatment of AIDS. According to the decrease of CD4T lymphocytes, certain medications are given; (ii) AIDS vaccine: The United States conducted a second phase trial of two AIDS vaccines containing gp120 components on 296 people, but the trial was temporarily terminated because six people had been infected. Thailand is currently conducting a UBI synthetic vaccine trial. (III) Blocking mother-to-child transmission: For pregnant women with AIDS whose CD4+T lymphocyte count is >200/μl, AIT can be used to treat the baby before delivery, during delivery and for infants, which has a certain protective effect. 2. Comprehensive Prevention (1) Popularize and publicize knowledge on AIDS prevention and understand the transmission routes, clinical manifestations and prevention methods; (2) Strengthen moral education, prohibit promiscuous sex, especially sexual promiscuity with foreigners, and eliminate secret prostitution; (3) Avoid sexual contact with HIV-infected persons, AIDS patients and high-risk groups; (iv) It is prohibited to share syringes and needles with intravenous drug users; (5) HIV testing must be performed when using imported blood, blood components and blood products; (6) Domestic blood donors should be strictly selected and gradually only those who test HIV negative can be blood donors to prevent HIV transmission; (7) Those who donate blood, organs, tissues and semen should be tested for HIV; (8) Establishing AIDS testing centers; (ix) Promoting the use of condoms and avoiding anal sex; (10) People with AIDS or HIV infection should avoid pregnancy, and newborn babies should avoid breastfeeding. Prevention of complications The best way to prevent complications is to start timely anti-HIV treatment. ①CD4+T lymphocytes <200/ Patients with mm3 should take 2 tablets of co-trimoxazole orally per day to prevent Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia until the CD4+ T lymphocyte count rises to 200/ 3-6 months above mm3. ② Toxoplasmosis: Avoid eating raw or undercooked meat, and avoid contact with cats and their excrement. Toxoplasma antibody IgG positive, CD4+T lymphocytes less than 100/ Those with ≥ 1.5 mm3 can take oral co-trimoxazole for prevention until the CD4+T lymphocyte count rises to above 200/mm3 for 3 months. Isoniazid prophylaxis in patients exposed to open tuberculosis. |
