Getting injured is inevitable in life. Some wounds heal quickly, while others heal slowly or even are difficult to heal. If the wound does not heal, be sure to change the dressing. It may also be that the wound is difficult to heal due to physical weakness and insufficient nutrition intake. 1. Thorough debridement and dressing change The wound surface should be thoroughly cleaned of necrotic tissue and secretions, rinsed with hydrogen peroxide or saline, and drained effectively. If the wound is infected, wound secretion culture and drug sensitivity test should be carried out, and sensitive antibiotics should be used according to the results to control the infection and eliminate factors that cause wound non-healing. 2. Enhance nutrition Eat more foods that promote wound healing. Fish oil is rich in fatty acids, has anti-inflammatory effects, and is beneficial to wound healing; lean meat, milk, eggs, black fish, etc. are rich in protein. Increasing the intake of protein and collagen in the diet can promote wound healing and reduce the chance of infection; Vitamin A can reverse the inhibitory effects of corticosteroids on wound healing; Vitamin C can promote the synthesis and cross-linking of collagen. 3. Do not bandage casually When ordinary people have small wounds on their bodies, they are often accustomed to putting a Band-Aid on them, but in fact this treatment method is not suitable for diabetic patients. In fact, a small piece of gauze is far more suitable than a Band-Aid. For local treatment of the wound, you can first disinfect the wound with alcohol or iodine, and then bandage the wound with one or two layers of gauze at most. Since the air permeability of gauze is better than that of a band-aid, it is more conducive to wound recovery. 4. Drug treatment If the patient's wound has a more serious ulcer and the wound cannot heal for a long time, it is necessary to do a good job of wound debridement and remove the necrotic tissue in the wound in time. After debridement, use good medicines to promote wound healing to promote wound healing. To avoid infection, gentamicin compresses can be applied topically. |
