Soak fresh arborvitae leaves in high-concentration white wine in a sealed container and they can be used after about 7 days. After soaking, use it 3 times a day, apply a small amount of medicated wine on the scalp each time. If you persist for 1-2 months, you can basically see new hair slowly growing in the places where hair loss was originally occurring. Soaking arborvitae leaves in wine has a significant effect in treating alopecia areata type hair loss, but the effect is less effective for stubborn hair loss such as seborrheic alopecia.

Some friends who have long-term hair loss can try the method of soaking arborvitae leaves in wine. The above method is still very simple. However, the treatment method of soaking arborvitae leaves in wine must be persisted for a long time, so that there will be significant curative effect!

Therefore, it is an astringent, blood-cooling and hemostatic drug, and is used for symptoms such as vomiting blood, coughing up blood, blood in the stool, hematuria, and metrorrhagia caused by excessive heat in the blood.

3. Antibacterial and antiviral effects

Liang Tong et al. demonstrated that the alcohol extract of Platycladus orientalis leaves had a strong inhibitory effect on the biosynthesis of leukocyte LTB4 and 5-HETE (5-lipoxygenase), and also showed a strong inhibitory effect on cyclooxygenase, suggesting that Platycladus orientalis leaves exert their anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting the activity of 5-lipoxygenase and the components of cyclooxygenase. Liu Airu et al. [5] demonstrated that the decoction of Platycladus orientalis leaves has an inhibitory effect on Staphylococcus aureus, and its alcohol extract has a stronger inhibitory effect on Staphylococcus aureus than the decoction, and also has an inhibitory effect on Catarrhalis. Zhang Qingyun [6] found that the extract of Platycladus orientalis leaves contains phenolic substances, which have anti-Candida activity.
