What are the effects of electrically heated sea salt hot packs?

The use of sea salt as hot compress has a very good conditioning and health-care effect on the body. For example, it is very effective in reducing swelling and anti-inflammation, and has a certain effect on beauty and skin care. There are many ways to use it. You can use electricity to heat the sea salt and then apply hot compress. When doing this, you need to be aware of some precautions and do not do it for too long to avoid adverse effects on your skin.

1. Coarse salt refers to seawater or salt wells and salt ponds.

The brine in the salt spring is boiled and dried to form crystals, that is, natural salt. It can stimulate and promote the secretion of sebaceous glands and has a sweating effect. It can help excrete waste and excess water from the body. It is not sold in large shopping malls or supermarkets now, but it can still be found in some small markets even in Beijing.

2. The time should not be too long

Since salt is extremely hygroscopic, no matter what heating method is used, it must be heated until the moisture in the salt is completely evaporated (the salt will make a slight "popping" sound after there is no moisture). Otherwise, because salt is highly permeable, water will penetrate into the body, which may have no effect on the body in the short term, but will cause greater damage to the body over a longer period of time!

3. Salt used:

Use about 4 pounds of large-grain coarse salt, about the size of corn kernels, each time. The main component of salt is NACL. Its composition will not change much through simple heating, so it can be fried repeatedly. It should be sifted with a basket used for washing rice at home every one to two weeks. The amount of salt will definitely decrease over time, so just add some new coarse salt.

4. Because using a microwave oven will produce moisture and oil.

Microwave use is not recommended. When the salt bag is not in use, place it in a dry place and make sure it is waterproof to prevent it from getting wet and forming lumps that are inconvenient to use.

5. Hot compress process:

Place the heated salt bag on the hot compress area. You can lie on your back or sit down, and it will not interfere with watching TV or surfing the Internet. It will be done for about 1-2 hours. You can cover it with something to reduce heat loss.

6. Bags for salt :

The length of the bag should be wide enough to cover the hot compress area horizontally.
