How to check breasts is normal

In the physical examinations organized by the company, a common disease among many female friends is breast hyperplasia. The breasts are extremely sensitive and are prone to some diseases. Therefore, female friends should always pay attention to the health of their breasts and actively undergo breast examinations. So how do you perform a breast examination? Below we will explain in detail what you need to pay attention to during a breast examination.

How to do a breast examination ?

1. Check in front of the mirror.

First, stand in front of a mirror with your upper body exposed and your arms hanging at your sides, and observe the shape of your breasts. It is important to be familiar with the appearance of your normal breasts so that you can detect any abnormalities. However, it is not abnormal for one breast to be slightly larger than the other. Next, raise your arms above your head, turn your body, and see if the shape of your breasts changes.

Then, put your hands on your hips and slowly rotate your body to the right and left to check if there are any sunken, red, swollen or skin damage on your breasts and nipples. Finally, place your hands on your hips and press down hard while rotating your body, which will help define your breasts. Pay attention to the shape of the breasts and check for any abnormal changes. If any abnormal changes are found, you need to compare them with the other side to see whether the breasts are symmetrical. If they are asymmetrical, you need to be alert and seek medical attention in time.

2. Check in standing or sitting position.

First, raise your left hand behind your head, and then use your right hand to examine your left breast. The correct way to check is to put the three middle fingers together, start from 12 o'clock above the breast (compare the breast to a clock), and use the fingertips to massage the skin in a clockwise circular motion. After completing each circle of inspection, return to 12 o'clock, then move down 2 cm to do the second circle of inspection, and then the third circle of inspection, until the entire breast and even the nipple are inspected.

When checking, apply force evenly, with the force being enough for the fingers to touch the ribs, and the fingers should not come away from the skin. After checking the left breast, raise your right hand behind your head and use your left hand to check the right breast in the same way. After checking the entire breast, use your index finger, middle finger, and thumb to gently lift and squeeze the nipple to see if there is any secretion. If so, go to the hospital for further examination in time.

3. Examination in supine position.

Lie flat on the bed with a small pillow under your shoulders. Because the breasts sag when sitting or standing, it is easy to miss a lump in the lower part of the breast, especially in overweight women, so the supine examination is also very important. The examination technique is the same as the standing examination.

Breast disease is one of the main diseases that endanger women's health at this stage, so female friends must actively prevent the occurrence of breast disease.
