Cases of indirect transmission of rabies

Cases of indirect transmission of rabies

Now is the season between spring and summer. The incidence of rabies is very high in this season. There are many ways to transmit rabies. First, it is transmitted through animal scratches and bites, animal blood, and saliva. Another way of transmission is from person to person. There are many cases of rabies transmission, but most of the transmission routes are these.

Overview: The incidence of rabies is higher in spring and summer. First, let us understand what rabies is. Rabies is an infectious disease caused by the rabies virus. When infected with the rabies virus, animals become manic and restless, attacking humans and other animals like mad dogs, and eventually die of paralysis. Some people also call rabies "mad dog disease", which is a more appropriate description. Let's look at how rabies is spread.

Steps/Methods: 1. The first way of transmission of rabies is the one that everyone is more familiar with, that is, healthy animals are directly attacked and bitten by animals with rabies virus and will be infected with rabies. This is because the saliva of rabid animals contains the rabies virus.

2 The second way rabies is transmitted is that healthy animals live with animals infected with rabies virus and are licked by their saliva, which can also cause them to be infected with rabies. This mode of transmission is most common when healthy people are infected with rabies by their apparently healthy puppies or kittens.

3 There are three ways of transmission of rabies. The respiratory secretions of animals with rabies virus and air contaminated by urine can infect healthy humans and animals with rabies. After rabid animals die, if their bodies are eaten by other animals, the other animals will also be infected with rabies.

Note: It can be seen that the transmission of rabies is not limited to what many people think. Rabies can be caused by being bitten by an animal with rabies. There are many ways of transmission. Therefore, in daily life, we must be responsible for the animals we domesticate and actively vaccinate them against rabies.
