Asthma in 3 months of pregnancy is a boy

Asthma in 3 months of pregnancy is a boy

For many pregnant women, they will feel uncomfortable with the many changes in their bodies. The problem of asthma during pregnancy will exist throughout the pregnancy. Because each person's physical constitution and reaction during pregnancy are different, the ability of pregnant women to adapt to asthma is also different. The longer the pregnancy period, the more obvious the asthma phenomenon will be. Therefore, it is necessary to relieve asthma symptoms at different stages of pregnancy.

1. Calm down your emotions

When an expectant mother suffers from asthma, first calm her down, then lie in bed and gently stroke her chest to relieve the asthma. After letting the expectant mother relax, prepare a cup of hot water and let her inhale hot steam to solve the dryness of the tracheal mucosa caused by mouth breathing due to asthma.

2. Oxygen Inhalation

If the expectant mother often has asthma problems, it is best to have an oxygen machine at home to increase the amount of oxygen inhaled during asthma and prevent hypoxia. If the situation is serious, it is best to go to the hospital for oxygen inhalation. If a pregnant mother experiences shortness of breath when she is not moving much or after light exercise, she should be alert and go to the hospital for a check-up to see if it is caused by heart disease.

3. Take deep breaths frequently

When suffering from asthma, expectant mothers can try to take deep breaths to allow the lungs to inhale more air to provide oxygen to various organs of the body, which can effectively alleviate the problem of shortness of breath. It is best for expectant mothers to practice deep breathing every day, which can reduce the frequency of asthma.

What to do if you have asthma during pregnancy

Stage 1: Early stages of pregnancy

Shortness of breath and chest tightness may occur in early pregnancy. This is because the mother's blood volume increases by an average of 1500 ml compared to the non-pregnant period. The increase in plasma far exceeds the increase in red blood cells, resulting in physiological anemia of pregnancy, which causes the blood's oxygen-carrying capacity to decrease. In addition, the enlarged uterus causes the heart to shift upward and to the left, and the heart works under unfavorable conditions. All of the above factors increase the burden on the heart. The mother's body completes excess work by increasing heart rate and cardiac output. When the amount of activity is slightly higher and the oxygen demand increases, palpitations and shortness of breath are likely to occur. Experts say that if there is no organic disease in the heart, there will be no major hindrance.

[Second stage: mid-pregnancy]

Xiao Zhong's wife, who is seven months pregnant, suffers from frequent shortness of breath and chest tightness. This is because the amount of blood entering the uterus increases in the middle and late stages of pregnancy, and the enlarged uterus presses upward on the heart and lungs. The fundus of the uterus is approximately below the sternum, so it presses on the heart and lungs, causing palpitations and shortness of breath. Therefore, at this stage, expectant mothers will feel that breathing is more difficult and shortness of breath is more obvious.

From the late stages of pregnancy to a period before delivery, the enlarged uterus presses upward on the diaphragm, putting pressure on the heart and lungs, causing feelings of palpitations and shortness of breath. Increased circulating blood volume, increased heart burden, and accelerated pulse are also one of the causes of palpitations. The hormonal balance in the body is disrupted during pregnancy, causing changes in the mother's blood circulation and blood pressure, which can also cause panic.

Stage 3: The weeks before delivery

Generally speaking, if it is the first child, the symptoms of shortness of breath felt by pregnant women will be alleviated. Some pregnant women experience a sense of relief - a feeling that the fetus is descending, probably because the fetus has entered the pelvis.
