Where should I massage my cold feet?

When our body is in a relatively cold state, we will feel cold and we need to go to a warm place. In life, no matter whether it is cold weather or hot weather, some people always feel cold feet, no matter how much exercise they do or how thick the shoes they wear. So, where should I massage my cold feet?

1. Massage Yongquan acupoint when the soles of feet are cold

The elderly and some women often experience cold hands and feet in winter, which is due to poor blood circulation in the hands and feet. Ms. Zeng is most afraid of having cold feet when sleeping in winter. She said: "My feet are so cold that I can't sleep the whole night." At this time, you may rub the Yongquan point with the inside of your palm (hypothenar) to warm up your feet. This point is located at the junction of the front third and the back two-thirds of the sole of the foot. In addition, if you tap the Zusanli point frequently, you can improve the blood circulation in your fingers and toes through meridian regulation, thereby warming up your hands and feet.

2. Massage Yangchi acupoint on the cool soles of feet

The name Yangchi acupoint means storing the sun's heat. It is an important acupuncture point that controls blood circulation and hormone secretion throughout the body. As long as you stimulate this acupoint, you can quickly unblock blood circulation and warm the body.

When stimulating the Yangchi point, you should do it slowly, for a long time, and with gentle force. It is best to use both hands. First, press the Yangchi point on the other hand with the middle finger of one hand, and then switch to press the Yangchi point on this hand with the middle finger of the other hand. This posture can naturally use the power from the middle finger to transfer to the Yangchi point without the help of others. Women with cold hands and feet generally don't have to worry about the coming of winter as long as they insist on stimulating the Yangchi point.

3. Massage Taixi acupoint when the soles of your feet are cold

Taixi acupoint can have a better therapeutic effect. On the medial side of the foot, in the depression between the tip of the medial malleolus and the Achilles tendon. Sit with your legs spread apart or cross-legged. Then use both thumbs to press or massage the Taixi point until you feel soreness. This can warm the kidney and replenish yang, and has a good effect on chills and cold limbs caused by yang deficiency.
